we've heard all of this for years now (and that clip was from 1992) Yet no one is willing to change his/her lifestyle to something less comfortable for the sake of the planet. There's a huge awareness concert about this issue being held on the 7th of July 2007 (7/7/07) and I very much doubt it will make much of a difference.

You are absolutely right....it is just like the cigarettes .. despite of all billions dollars research done on the harmfulness of smoking , cigarettes are still available in market.

reducing global warming means losing a lot of money for world leader..

There are so many scientific facts showing the harmfulness of global warning. On the other hand, there are other few researches done to rpove the opposite of nature resistance to global warming...examples,

Kara mentioned in another thread Also not all glaciers are melting, some are growing like in the Himalayas. Which scientists believe is a different response to global warming
well, wouldn't the increased glacier in Himalayas has its own harmfulness.

Some scientist claimed that there are other causes of warming due to the raise of CO2 not only the industry , take for example "the Sun".. well i say that the sun is always present from the beginning of earth creation...but why now, specially in the last few years, there is an exponential rise in global CO2 levels and hence the temperature. Is the sun becoming more naughtier.. nasty sun

i feel sorry for myself before the rest living in a place where i am scared of every move i make and every thing i put into my mouth.
it is really scary knowing what will happen or whats happining to the world we are living in if we didnt change our life style, but no one is ready to change their life style and i am one of them.
