Well, I've always wanted to major in medicine, and I'm supposed to graduate in 4 weeks (I need to pass my finals that start in a week). I still love it, well I haven't tried working yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

But during those 7 years, I discovered that I've grown an interest in sports and I wanted to know more about it, so I started buying fitness instructor's books, got certified in schwinn cycling, and now I'm planning on trying for long distance learning to get a bachelors in sports sciences. I'd like to have both. :)

I considered majoring in many things, simply because I was interested in many things, I was so confused at one point, that I chose whatever, and in my head I said, I will just study and live with my decision. THANK GOD, I love what I chose. Hopefully, I will have a rewarding career.

I still have other interests, and inshallah, I can pursue them if I want to do my masters or PhD. But for now, I am thrilled with my major.

I changed my major 3 times over the course of two years until I finally settled on a major that I really found myself interested in.. I didn't mind having wasted two years, because it was all worth it in the end.. I enoyed the four years of studying and I'm also enjoying my job very much... I'm always glad I didn't end up going for the initial choices...

If anyone asks for my advice I tell them it's never too late to change. Study what you find yourself interested in, not what people pressure you or expect you to do..

I started out in Engineering and changed major a year and a half into my course. I hated it. When I wanted to change majors I wasn't even allowed to choose for myself. The ministry wrote me a letter saying choose between either accounting or finance. I chose finance because I thought accounting would be too boring. Thank god. I love it.

I think it's really difficult to make a decision about what you want to do for the rest of your life!
My dreams started it off with Literature and then Law.... I ended up with IT!
Now, if I could go back, I would do Nursing! I love nurses!!

I'm still shaking, I'm not sure if what I picked is the best.
but it is certainly what I always wanted.

i always had an interest in computers so it was only natural to go for it without looking at other choices...

now i have a Bachelors in Computer Science and a diploma in IT... I am also working in IT... al7amdulilah...

if i had the choice now to change my major, i might go for philosophy... :)

I'm convinced I'm stuck in the wrong field, I don't enjoy what I'm doing at all, and I know I could be doing much better if I was doing something I'm truly passionte about, but I'm going to finish it off just because I don't like to give up. I can always do a second degree when I'm done.
