Use Nizoral 2% shampoo twice a week for 15-30 days depending on the results

It is very effective

The scalp is tougher and can take stronger chemicals than skin on other parts of your body, like say your face.. but, in the event that something is on the scalp that the scalp doesn't like, it will try to remove the 'danger' by getting rid of the top layer of skin way faster than usual.. and that's why you see flakes in the hair. It is the skin's 'defence mechanism'. What could be causing the irritation could be a number of things, like a change in acidity, a product with perfume or alcohol, or a fungal infection.

yeah, way better than Head and Shoulders.

Anti-dandruff shampoos should be used as a treatment for dandruff. Using such a shampoo for a prolonged time may make one sensitive to the active ingredient itself.

Here we get one called Polytar. It's really good, but smells bad.

You can PREVENT dandruff by using a shampoo that contains TeaTree Oil. I'm sure Body Shop do it, and Paul Mitchell have too if you get the stuff.

Hey vimto. :D

You need not shave your head. Just wash it frequently.
