Confirmed rumors Report that there will be a meeting Nintendo will hold on the 22nd. Within this meeting.. more information about games specifically the big trio of games (Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Metroid Prime 3) about releases, gameplay and perhaps online play.. Aside from these games, nintendo may show a lot of games that are still being made and may come out this year. Games such as Resident evil 4/Umbrella Chronicles, Manhunt 2, mario charged strikers, Pokemon Battle revolution and who knows what else. Nintendo will surely take the opportunity of showing games that are meant for the non gamer/casual gamer crowd such as the brain training series and games similar to it. So far the first game that might seem to get new info is Super Smash Bros Brawl as it is having its website redesigned and even had a countdown.. there will be only a day left (japanese time)

will keep you informed about any other info.. so sit tight! :)

I'm mostly interested in Mario Galaxy..that's the game that will make me decide if I want to get the Wii or not.

Personally, I can't wait for metroid prime 3.. the game was supposed to be a launch title but was delayed so they can add more things... who knows what will become of it..

one unique thing i know of mario galaxy is that somewhere in the game, you have the option to play with a 2nd player.. no idea for what though

As for smash bros.. nothing came from it for quite a long time.. its confirmed there will be online and there will be new characters (and most of which are a secret) the last smash bros had 25 characters.. some where clones... who knows how many characters there will be in this series... one disappointing thing is that..

nonetheless i still love this trailer :p

I highly doubt it.. Nintendo doesn't show as much existence of its games and itself in TGS. Instead it shows it mainly at E3 which will come sometime in july.. However this new E3 is different so we may never know what it will be like.. regardless, because they didn't show much at the last GDC (Game Developer Conference) due to stock deals, I'm willing to bet we'll be seeing some of the stuff we were promised to have :p

dude the BIG news are USUALLY left for E3 but since they are making it smaller,i believe companies will concentrate more on TGS !
besides NINTENDO is japanese which is why i THINK they might give more attention to TGS !
but then then again i dunno why japanese ppl look at americans as gods so that might mean the attention will go to E3,but i dunno ! :p
coz the SE party was a dissapointment to me and SE said they will anounce the new KH on TGS which led me to believe that maybe japanese companies might leave their big announcement for TGS from now on !
but i dont know i just THINK so ! :p
i just want to get the games in the end ! :p

dude.. almost all nintendo games are big news.. unlike 3rd party developers such as squeenix, most of their games are known by everyone.. gamer or not. Not to mention most of their games lately have been attracting non gamers such as brain training series...

anywhoo apparently while i was gone a short list of release list has been announced.. this seems to be from july to september... I'm quite excited! We'll be hearing more in the next few days.. also i tried entering the smash bros site and its somehow broken..

Sorry I haven't updated lately.. there appears to be an embargo at the media summit (another way of hiding the news by the lovely folks at nintendo -_-) and that instead of the summit being finished through a day, it will finish at friday night (with the best and biggest information saved for last presumably).. i'll still be updating

^basically nintendo started this trend of attracting people who never played games or didn't play that much games. They added games such as Brain Age: Train your brain in minutes a day!, nintendogs, More Brain Training, some cooking game and Most of these stuff aren't actually games. They're either crossword puzzles, card games, simulations, sudoku and mental exercising IQ/arithmetic/other unique tests. These "games" have attracted many people into considering buying a DS along with those games.. and it has been very successful to the point that many developers are starting to do the same and follow nintendo's trend.
