Lost Odyssey is an RPG currently in development by Mistwalker for the Xbox 360.

In Lost Odyssey the player takes control of Kaim, a man who has been sentenced to live for 1,000 years. Gameplay revolves around the many generations of which Kaim is a part of, his loves and losses and conflicts of a world nearing a "mystical industrial revolution". Lost Odyssey's story is being penned by the award winning Japanese novelist, Kiyoshi Shigematsu who is working directly with the game's producer Hironobu Sakaguchi on the story sequences. Heading up the artistic demands of the title is famed Japanese comic artist, Takehiko Inoue, while famed composer Nobuo Uematsu has been recruited to create a more contemporary soundtrack. Mistwalker is developing the title, with cooperation with a studio named Feel Plus, a subsidiary of Microsoft created specifically to aid Mistwalker. Former Square employees at Microsoft are also involved.

this is another game by MISTWALKER ,the company that made BLUE DRAGON but the charecter designer her is different and the scripit was written by a movie scripit writer
unlike BD this game will be serious and is ALOT darker and more mature ! :)
good thing the company is making RPGs with different styles and each look awesome and completely different ! :)

looks like I'm gonna HAVE to buy this Xbox

i wanted to get the xbox 360 on the begining but i've found out there is no warrenty on it in Oman plus i've seen up to 3 machines in the shop have been returned so i said it's too risky to get the xbox360 i got instead Nintendo wii which the same as the xbox doesn't got a warrenty too but i didn't see any returned wii there....but ps3 got the warrenty so it's not risky to get one of ps3.

the game looks awesome i hope it's not exclusive on the xbox 360 by the way yasirb how do you find the xbox 360 ? :)

the game is produced by MICROSOFT so NO WAY its coming on ANY other system !
i HATE microsoft but i felt that the xbox had more games !
lolz i bought mine online from amazon n it didnt any sort of warranty but i dont really care about those stuff ! :p
although i have GEARS OF WAR i spend most of my time playing CASTLEVANIA SYMPHONY OF THE NIGHT ! :p

hmmm...all about fighting eh?...I still like it for some reason.

well... somehow I feel ever since Lord of the rings was released, fighting or war movies have similarities to it.

its not ALL about fighting
its just a WAR scene in the begenning of the game
they want a game to beging with a bang ! :)
but as i read it WILL have a pretty deep story coz the game's scripit is written by a JAPANESE MOVIES scripit writer AND a novels writer called KIYOSHI SHIGEMATSU who wrote novels like HINAGON and SHISSO

It's a very weird mixture of present and future... i mean... they fight with swords and spears and there are machines :os... plus... they wear old armored garments and the place that guy;s sitting in looks modern..... lol... interesting

there WAS technology in FF7 but how come cloud always used a sword instead of a gun !? :p

^^that was a special sword with different break limits :p... okay!!! lol... and they had summons and magic as well...

this one's just an ordinary sword... and ordinary fighting :XD:

well who knows maybe KAIM's sword ALSO has limit breaks n stuff that we havent seen yet ! :p
