Found the trailer for the new banjo game. But I'm quite dissapointed that they're developing it for the xbox360 instead of the wii. It's a shame that Rare no longer develop games for Nintendo cause I really enjoyed most of their games for the N64 (Banjo 1 & 2 , diddy kong racing , DK 64).

I've seen the trailer ages ago and it does look rubbish to be honest... ever since rare went to microsoft and their games have been going down the drain..seriously they're sucking sooo much lately.. even the founders of rare decided to leave the company and they might either form their own company or just quit... Their games in the old days were awesome (Donkey kong country series, killer instinct, goldeneye, conker's bad fur day, banjo series, diddy kong racing, perfect dark and many more) but most of their portable gaming is terrible (the port of diddy kong racing on the DS and its difficult controls), and their sequels are getting worse (perfect dark on the 360 isn't as good as the original)

yup the first smash bros was for the 64

metroid prime isn't really a first person shooter.. its more of a first person action adventure sort of game... most of the game involves scanning enemies or objects and solving various puzzles and then blasting away giant hordes of bosses and then (the most intense part) setting a time bomb to evacuate from a planet and flying away with your ship :D

just thought of a couple of other commercials that i think are awesome..

Tetris DS

tetris looks cool. Are there any twists for the DS version or is it just the regular tetris block on block game play?

Ya there are 6 modes..

First you have the basic standard tetris.. nothin new here.. what's unique about it is that you can hold a certain piece and use it when you want to (my favourite is when i make a high amount of blocks and i leave only a single space enough for the long line block to fit in and that way i would have done a quadruple clear)

2) then you have push mode, where you and an opponent (pc or human) are playing against one another. there's basically a fire pit at the top of the screen and the bottom. your objective is to push your opponent into the fire pit by clearing double, triple or quadruple lines of the blocks..

3)next you have puzzle mode.. this mode is very easy.. what you have to do is clear all the lines available and to do that, you're presented with 3 types of tetris blocks that have to be used in a certain order and in a certain side/shape.

4)Another mode is the mission mode.. basically what it asks you to do is that you must clear a set of lines in a certain way (i.e use the box block to clear a double line) it can get very hard..

5) Next you have touch mode. All the blocks are ontop of each other and using the touch screen, you must move them around in order to clear lines.. this is kinda confusing to be honest

6) finally you have catch mode... instead of having the pieces falling at the base, the base is falling on the pieces.. you basically move around the base to collect them and is cleared once you create a 4 x 4 box Its kinda hard to explain so here's a video..
