I had some very interesting questions..I wanted to know about after one dies, can that person still get deeds? I mean , for example, if that person had built a mosque or school in his life and even after he is dead, does he still get good deeds everytime someone prays or goes to school?

Also what about if a person talks about me after I die and they say good things about me like "She always made us smile..she was funny.she was kind" , do i still get more good deeds for them saying good things about me? And what about if someone is talking about something wrong i have done, like for example, "She was really rude that day..?" do i get deeds taken away?

Also another question, when we are talking about someone who is dead and then we say "Allah yar7am7a/Allah yar7amoh" (God have mercy on her/him), does Allah really then have more mercy on him/her even though she /his is dead and their fate has already been decided??
I am very curious to see the answers.

There is a hadith which states when the slave (or son of Adam) dies his deeds will stop except from 3 ways: (اذا مات العبد انقطع عمله الا من ثلاث، علم ينتفع به وصدقه جاريه وولد صالح يدعوا له).

1. Knowledge (science) people benefit from it.
2. Continues charity (like he donates in building a mosque, etc)
3. And a poise son praying for him.

I have no idea about the second Qs :) ..

The 3rd Qs;
Also another question, when we are talking about someone who is dead and then we say "Allah yar7am7a/Allah yar7amoh" (God have mercy on her/him), does Allah really then have more mercy on him/her even though she /his is dead and their fate has already been decided??

If you read the Verse in Ice Tea post , You will noticed the last part
3. And a poise son praying for him.

Asking God for mercy on your dead father is a pray ..
Pray for dead people is from the Sunnah of the Prophet :PBUH: ..

Btw , I write what I know and what I read :)

Just to help answering the third question of AE, I just want you to know that someone's fate "includes" your prayer to him. It is a knowledge of Allah that is eternal and inclusive of everything. So we pray just because we were ordered to pray, so that we do the action that we deserve with it the reward. In God's knowledge this is all been set up and done with.

I can't answer more than that because this would mean that I am just explaining in religion in my own understand, and sure there are more knowledgeable people who can answer such difficult question.
