A friend of mine was telling me his experience when he got married at an early age. It was an arranged marriage but he was satisfied, because his family made him see the girl and he really was amazed by her beauty!

On the wedding night, after the celebration.. she removed her make up and surprise! The girl wasn't that beautiful as he thought she was. It didn't matter to him since he liked her for her other qualities that were his priority.

Of course, the guy wouldn't share this story if he was still married to her.. he's divorced now... anyway, the point.. this question goes especially to the men:

Have you ever been in a situation where you fell in love with this girl and then a day comes and you see her without make up!? How did that make you feel?!

Were you surprised? Does it feel like you've been fooled or cheated on?!

How much make up was that girl applying to change that much?

It's silly to think some men would actually be disappointed when they see us without make up. Unless, make up changes you significantly, then there won't be a problem (I think!).

makeup can make wounders for a moment but not for the rest of life, using a light make up would do the trick...

Once she agreed since I did convince her " Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" so we picked a spot and I was there 30 min before time and there she was walking from far away and every time she came closer my heart was beaten faster and felt the heat but it was kind of of mixed feelings I had to rub my eyes twice .. What a seen ( poor girl ) she was not pretty at all and who ever wrote the proverb Beauty is in the eye of the beholder .. Must have had an ugly woman to justify himself !!

Yeah Make-up just look at the Salalah Girls I heard they buy a special cream to burn the skin and rub it to become white and tons of make up they put on . Imagine you wake up in the morning and you see totally different women without her make up ..thats a let down

The problem is that the bride puts TOO much make up that when she finally takes it off, she 's a totally different person and the Husband is in shock! Make-up does not change a woman, but the amount of make-up does! Why do women put so much? why so many dark colors? I think that some woman believe that if they put more, they'll look better. WRONG! And that's not fair if the man judges her that much by her looks. That's the way God made her. I thought it didnt matter what she looked like as long as she was good...right?..
