This is about the silliest thing I have written in my life. Nevertheless, I liked the way it ended :D. It kinda fits for children lol. Tell me what you think:
When time and space were first to be,
Words were slowly laid to Earth,
To see what the eye cannot see,
Blooming sadness or spreading mirth.
And though ageless words are in harmony,
They fight among themselves at times.
The 'if', the 'and' and old 'to be',
Are immortal inhabitors of all rhymes.
And on one fine noon, the words had met,
Some were old like 'thou' and 'thee'.
Some were short like 'let' and 'bet',
Some objected like 'disagree'.
And every word spoke of its age,
And how through kingly tongues it had leapt.
How it was echoed in the mind of a sage,
And to the hearts of people, it had crept.
And there were soon fights among the words,
Loud voices flew like thunder roar.
Yet 'Peace', 'Time' and 'Love were the first,
To spread their golden wings and soar.
For 'Peace' and 'Time' are never apart,
They're always together through smooth and rough,
And with them, resting in the warmest heart,
Stays the most ancient, purest 'Love'.
