I am sure that you all heard about the most awful crime ever happened in our society "mother of crimes" the nasty killing of three Omani youth in Barka two months ago. They were killed in such unhumanitarian manner that never existed in Oman. They were killed by a group of animals that classify themselves as Muslims, I can't imagine these thugs share us the same identity.

The funeral of the victims took place in Nizwa few days after the crime. A place where crime is not recognized by its dictionary. I participated with all those furious people who went out to have a glance of their beloved ones. It was a sad day that will never ever be forgotten in the history of this massive city. In fact, the crime will be included in the black sheet of Oman's civilization.

I have just read in the electronic issue of Oman newspaper that the court is still proceeding in finding the full scenario of the "mother of crimes" in order to reach its final verdict. For those who kept a close eye, this crime is obvious and needs no more court sessions even one of the defendant has withdrawn because he couldn't find any reason why he should waste time in a very clear case.

Brothers and sisters, please show that you really care for the people of Oman, that you don't accept wild animals to role you, that you scream Please court………

i agree with you. i think death sentence to killers, rappers and those animals who claim to be memebers of our society.i did not hear the whole stroy , i do not read a lot of news. so if you can update us on the incident that would be greately appreciated.
my heart is with the families of the victims.

By the the wa,The media never issued their surnames. The final court session took place yesterday in which the judge decided to announce the final verdict on Monday 6/10/00 so lets hope the judge get it all right. I am going to inform you with the verdict next week insha allah. You may also want to know the names of the victims/

I didn't want to judge,but simply the one who kill should be killed to stop people thinking about it in future.

It's true I don't know the stoty,but mr nzwani explained that it is a murder for gold or money.

I just want to make things clear here, Anybody can say kill those thugs as the full story is well known by all Omanis at home. It was a clear case of murdering three innocent men in order to have their money and a high quantity of gold ( victims were jeweller's sales men).
The people who committed this crime had no way to escape but to say yeas we did it. The judge will announce the court's final verdict this Monday 6/11/00. Please show no sympathy for such animals , Thanks

im not going to fight or anything, just put yourself in the place of the family. how much thought would you give before you say DEATH SENTENCE. it is so easy to say think and be just when you are viewing, its hard when you are involved.

I agree with the death sentence- some people might get wrongfully judged by the court but in the long run crime is still kept to a minimum level. In places where people are wrongfully judged and get life sentences they have to live the rest of their lives in a prison. At least if you are wrongfully hanged for your crimes you will meet your maker and he will take care of you, better than sepnding time with other murderers and rapists ay ?

This was announced three days ago by the court of law:-

Five of those sixth criminals will be executed and one member will only be jailed for five years because he is slightly under age. His role was to make sure no strangers gain access to the place of that shameful crime, in one word he played a guard role.

I am pleased about that although I think the guard should get at least 15 years in prison.
