I have been writing poetry since a teenager, it has become my therapeutic media. I pour my sadness, anger, happiness and even confusion through writing. I hope I can share this with you and show you how can writing be a relief. Writing is gradual process so if you wish not to write, reading and hearing also can change the mood.

Allow me to show you how poetry lifted me up, so here is my first writing session.

Please do spread the word and I'm looking forward to see you there. You can visit http://iamnasra.blogspot.com/2007/02/write-out.html

This writing session is free however, kindly do book on the telephone number indicated.

Venue : Top Medical Care (in Al Azaiba behind Al Watan newspaper)
Date: 21/2/2007
Time: 2000 hours
Tel: 24494119

Looking forward to see you

So what would we do in this session? Will we listen + speak, or listen only? I mean can you give us more details about the program?

Thanks for your care! :)

Good Question Haroundb
Its going to be combination of listening, then writing, it does not have to be porety just what you feel at that instant.

This session is just to bring how words (poetry, writing) can allow us to relax or even a place where to pour our feeling into where you link between your heart and hand and allow the energy of writing to flow ...

seems interesting, I used to write ages ago and then I stopped. Nowadays I keep all the feelings bottled inside and I dunno when will this bottle explode! are you going to run other sessions in the future? I always wanted to participate in one of those but I just don't have time :(

So what exactly is going to happen? & how can I attend the session?

Its a free session where we learn to use poetry or writing or listening to poetry/prose as a media for relaxation. So it will have combination of listening, writing, reading. Just to unstress ourselves through writing...

Its open for anyone who wants to join you can call the mentioned number for checking the location. (Azaiba just behind Al Watan newspaper)

I phoned today.
Me: Is this Top Medical Care?
The other side: Yeah...
Me: I wanted to ask about today's poetry session.
The other side: Pardon?
Me: The writing session today?
The other side: I think you dialed the wrong number.
Me: Alriiight! Sorry!
*line hung up*

Nasra, if you're there, what exactly is the matter? Whoever I called seems completely unaware of it!
