I agree with you 100%. How nice to be loved, but how much better to love!

Did you ever see the movie Adaptation? There is great scene in there in which the crazy twin brother talks about the girl he loved in high school that rejected and made fun of him, but how much he loved her and she couldn't stop him from loving her.

True Love gives and doesn't count the cost. And True Love is gonna get you hurt in the end, even if the person you love is wonderful and loves you back. Love always brings pain, but it is wonderful anyway.

Think about it this way:

If somebody loves you and you don't love them, it's irritating or depressing or sad. What do you get out of it?
