This guy has been sleeping around with so many women before marriage, and then one day comes, he proposes to this girl, and they get married. Surprisingly, he's VERY excited about "the wedding night"!

What I don't get is that why is he very excited about it when he's been having sex all his life? It's not like it's something 'new' or he's been waiting all his life to have sex!!! The only difference is that he's doing it the right way, without committing a sin.

His wife knows all about his past relationships, so it's not like he's trying to cover his past by showing that he's excited and "unexperienced"!

I just want to understand what's the excitement about? Is marriage sex to men something very different than these silly relationship stuff? Or something else?

Well, for a bloke, the chase is usually better than the catch. They love chasing women and once they get her, they're not interested anymore.

Others like the chase, but get bored of chasing down someone who they know is going to give them what you want with less chasing. As in, casual sex vs sex in a marriage.

Make no mistake, there are two kinds of sex. And they both exists in and out of marriages. Just sex and love making. A man can make love to his gf and he can also have 'just sex' with his wife.

The excitement is all in the novelty of the thing. And not in the novelty of sex itself, but in the novelty of sex with someone new. In time this type of excitement wears off and a different kind of "excitement" replaces it.

That's a big reason why some men (and women) are adulterous. There is nothing like that excitement and the added rush of doing something he shouldn't be doing.
