Every year we have someone come to the sabla and complain about the conecpt of valentines day and that it's just too commercial. Maybe it is but who cares, if people need a day to do something EXTRA special then so be it, no harm done especially if it makes people happy.

For those wondering: I do NOT celebrate them, though when others do celebrate something as common as their birthdays, and they consider bidding them a Happy Birthday as a sign of nice-ness, I usually do bid them so.

You guys didn't even read what Scorpion said. He's not talking about not celebrating valentine's day at all. What his concern is sometimes we have feelings for people but we don't tell them or we try to force ourselves out of love because of external influences.
