Many private institutes in Oman provide courses in Business and Information Technology...

Do we have any of that teach first aids? Not something very deep like surgeries. Just simple tactics on how you can clean a wound, treat someone unconscious.. stuff that will help you along the way...

I really want to get into one of these programs.. but I don't know where :think:

I am not aware of any institute that provides such courses for non health professionals

However, if I am not mistaken, basics in first aid is provided as an optional course in SQU for different colleges apart from the college of medicine & science

They offer a First aid course in Oman Medical College, but i guess you have to be a student there to enroll.

You can take First Aid as an elective in SQU if you are a student there.

the staff training department at SQUH provide first aid courses for non-medical personel.

in addition, there is that private institute near Kargeen Resturant which provide first aid courses. Its name sound linke Oman national institute..or training institute. My wife took such course in that institute.

It's the NTI, National Training Institute. They've moved to Ghala now & yes they do provide these courses:First Aid, Managing safety, Working safely, H2S, Defensive driving, etc.
