The truth about Destiny's Child
This is a very interesting new feature on what happened to the two members of the band who got kicked out back in 1999. It's such a shame what happened to them (based on that video) and makes you wonder if beyonce deserves all the success she had.
watch and share your opinion.

But this has nothing to do with Beyonce. It was her fathers fault. Even the 2 x-destiny's child members said that it was miscommunicated to Beyonce and Kelly so it has nothing to do with her success. I think they exaggerated when they were saying "Beyonce is driving around in a jaguar and my mothers is driving around in an old mazda" lol that just means that Latoya was too cheap to buy her mom and new car.
Beyonce deserved all her success and when she branched out on her own she proved that, the group was obviously holding her back.
but then beyonce went ahead with it without even making sure of what was really going on and later on in the interview she said 'the bad seeds are all out' which I thought was kinda rude. Yes it's her father but she should always make sure and listen to the story from it's original source.
This video clip is very obviously biased against Matthew and Beyonce Knowles.
The version I had read very early on is that LeToya had not been as committed as the others were.
Let's face it, if you have half a group who are not turning up to practise, then they are holding the others back and wasting their time. No one can argue that Matthew Knowles's methods were bad, because the group shot to fame in a relatively very short time. The girls always performed well, so something was being done right.
Then with Latavia in hospital, it would have been devastating to the young groups reputation if they cancelled their tour just a day away. Matthew Knwoles's job is not an easy one and I think that now that Destiny's child have become so famous and rich, obviously, these members feel like they should be there too. The thing is, that Destiny's Child got there thanks to their own hard work and efforts and the good direction of Beyonce's dad.
To me, Letoya and Latavia just seem like they have a bad case of sour grapes. I'm sure that if Destiny's Child had gone bust after the first album, this clip wouldn't exist. ;)
...b!tch....

Fengy, I hear ya, and I know you're a massive beyonce fan but something still does not smell right about the whole thing. I actually remember being rather shocked myself when I first saw the 'say my name' video with two completely different members and it was kinda dissapointing actually because their album 'The writings on the wall' was excellent because it featured vocals of all 4 of them and they even used the album version in the video that had the vocals of La Toya and La Tavia. If they ditched them then they should have re-recorded the song with vocals from the two new members, that would have been the right thing to do but of course they knew that they would have messed up album and single sales (the album went on to sell more than 9 million in the U.S) thanks to their hits off that album.

yeah, though I'm sure that if their voices are used in the songs than they get paid royalties for it. I think they're more pissed off because they're imagining where they could be now. There are many bands who drop members and get new ones. In the end, it's not about friendship, it's about what's best for the band.
My dad used to manage a local garage band. They did really good until one by one, they each started having other problems that interfered with their efforts into making music. The band slumped. Gigs couldn't be played on time because someone was always missing from practice. It's not fair on the other band members and sometimes, showing a band member where the door is, is in the best interest of the band itself.
