Most -if not all - of the cartoon series shown on TV, are anime series which were translated to arabic. However, that translation is not always good, and it puts you off like Hunter X Hunter, they really did a crappy job :angry: !

Anyways which do you think is the best arabic translated anime series, and which do you think is the worst?

I liked Kabamaro, Grandizer, Trasure Island and many more :D

the old arabic dubs are not very bad
but nowadays they just cut everything n turn it into kiddies show even if they can appeal to teens n young adults(DIE SPACETOON DIE AND BURN IN HELL !!!!)
but when i watch anime i watch in its original japanese language which is THE BEST !!!

Grendizer is without a doubt the best arabic dubbed anime. I would go so far and say its even better than the japanese one! (and I watched the grendizer vs great mazinger and while it was good, i would have loved it more in arabic)

The worst? No idea really.. all the animes i see on space toon are very crappy and the voice actors sound too childish i suppose

i noticed that almost ALL the cartoons with real people that we used to watch as kids are ANIME
coz most what americans do is animals like mickey mouse n bugs bunny

ninja turtles isnt an anime n its made in the US ! :p
but al the others are japanese anime

Oh yes SpaceToon totally ruined all anime *annoyed*...

Bad translation would be "MY dear Brother" = A5ii Al 3azeez , The cartoon maybe nice but the translation was very bad and editing was even more worse...you can see your self going into circles

Add Yougi (that cartoon with cards game that turn to monsters and gain points) same thing you can see you are going through same scene over and over

n sumtimes just say that they are siblings !!!
n the way they cut the scenes is just stupid !!!
n they even make the charecters call the traditional japanese food "7ALWA" (CANDY) !!!!!
its just silly n frustrating !!!
if they dub naruto or bleach to arabic i might die !!!!

I guess all the old anime was great. Not sure if the current ones, or the ones started showing few years back.now that depends how old back do you go... "Tom Tom" (6am 6am) or "sahib al`9il al6aweel" = "the person with tall shadow" or maybe Pokimon ;)

but the other two are

One aspect I liked about grendizer was how they kept the japanese names... One bad aspect is that the names of the monsters were really cheesy (boda boda, zenu zenu, gela gela etc..)

the old ones were fine..but the new? :no:

the whole story is different..i wouldn't mind the voices..it's ok
but really! the story is so messed

Pokemon in arabic is my favorite between these.

all of the old cartoons are just great unlike nowadays they all suck! the whole story is changed and everything it's just stupid (i hate spacetoon :os )
