i actually thought that you will be listing some new shops that you knew are going to open ! :-S

Gucci is the only name that grabed my attention really:p anybody knows anything about it?!

So far it's sure that they're going to open Mexx, Vincci, & Home Centre. There are other shops as well, but I'm not sure which one's are they.

they should open a clothing shop for guys that doesnt have stupid colored shirts like pink n baby blue (preferrebly BLACK !!)
not EVERYONE wants to wear stuff that screams "pretty boy"

I know the names of most of the shops that will open in the City Center expansion but I can't announce them except for the ones already announced in the press over the past few months. Anyhow, City Center's expansion is happening in two phases. Phase I is ready and will open to the public mid-Feb or early March so you'll soon see what's there. Phase II won't be ready till August.

Phase 1 opened last week I think, and there isn't any of the shops you guys mentioned lol surprise :p Centre point, Home Centre, Korean cosmetic shop called Missha or something like that, 2 lingerie shops which are still closed, 2 childswear shops and this accessories shop. I think thats it, I hope phase 2 is more interesting!

^ I'm pretty sure I saw 2 shoe stores! One was charles and keith (already in araimi!) and Im not sure about the other one! if you ask me.. I dont think anyone should keep their hopes high :mmhmm:

For how it's looking right now, doesn't sound too encouraging!! I haven't been there but I heard it's all wow wow wow .. this post doesn't make me go to city center yet!

The place looks nice, specially with the parking and all, u feel like ur in Dubai..but so far the shops aren't encouraging.
