The nominations are not fair for other movies that should be in the list as well. There are many actors and actresses that should be there too, in the movies they acted in.

You're all going to watch those dull celebrities prancing around .. making their speeches?

May the hottest win :).

I was happy to see Scorsese finally win something, it was about time and the departed was certainly an amazing movie, one of my favs from last year.

Most of my predictions came true (mirren , whittaker and hudson) all got their oscars and lived up to the buzz around them. I was pleasantly surprised though that alan Arkin won the supporting role oscar instead of murphy who everyone though would win but I'm glad he didn't.

Not the best award show i've seen..the speaches weren't as interesting to listen to and it was very predictable but congrats to the winners.

The Departed, well deserved. Although I hoped The Prestiege would win something

The award of Best Film Editing should have gone to "Children of Men", & the same for Achievement in Cinematography. But, since I didn't watch the winner of this award "Pan's Labyrinth", so I can't really say that.

"The Departed" was the 1st by winning four awards, then "Pan's Labyrinth" comes second, this movie comes from Mexico I guess, so its good to see a Spanish spoken movie among the English ones.

And what all the fuzz about Algore? Does that have something to do with his "coming" campaign?

I've had this question in my head for a long time...why in the world is it called the "Oscars"? i mean, who is Oscar anyway?
