*What do our Policewomen in Oman do? In exact what are their duties as policewomen?

....Especially we don’t see them patrolling around or catching some one on the street!.......

I saw police women in muscat festival...
I saw a police woman riding a horse in the beach and monitoring the area...

never heard them make a fuss.
no...I doubt the police women here are extremists.

The police women I've seen usually just monitor, and if there's anything suspicious, they would report it to the police men.
I'm not aware of their other duties..

Police women do all sort of things .. they do alot of the administrative work in the HQs all around the country
there is also a force (mukafa7at al shaghab - riot control?? ) those who wear black and what I heared they are fast and strong :)

basically police women are sent when there is a lady involved in the situation

I mostly see them in events only (like Muscat Festivals) or some schools charity festival (souq 7'eiri)

When I first went to get my Learning license for driving (Ketcha) a Woman gave it to me, when I did my Barrels test (dramat), it was the same woman who was there, and when I went to give them back my Learning license to get my Driving License after passing the road test, it was the same woman :D

Seen some on the beach, seen some working in the police stations, in the airport in security points, helping women etc etc etc.
