I think it's time he comes out from behind the curtains.

Let the questions come.
Tiny Heart 03-01-07, 02:02 AM Ur nick name.... what does it mean & Y have U chosen it?
ID:
D.O.B: 15th Jan. 1989
Gender: Male
Country of Origin: Palestine
Location: Qatar
Nationality: Arabian
Social Status: Widower, murderer and looking.
Profession: Student
Religion: Fork worshipment. Though the passport says Islam.
Personal Qs:
1. What encouraged you to join this forum?
I was looking for an Arabic forum, Arabic members with extremely casual lifestyles and attitudes. Found the link to this one somewhere, remained a guest for a while, then registered.
2. Who's your role model in life and why?
None.
3. Describe yourself in 5 words.
Moody, weird, malignant, complex, individualistic, funny, dark, and abandoned - choose the 5 you like.
4. What are your future goals?
Make a difference, a change. Change something, fix. Succeed, get rich. Continue studying all my life, get a PhD or two. Gain as much knowledge as I can. Do not die as an average human.
5. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
Not a darn clue. If I was to take a wild guess, maybe in some office in a huge building drinking coffee, planning a crime, and flirting with my wife on the phone.
6. Are you an internet addict? How many hours do you spend on the internet a day?
If I am home, I am online.
ES Qs:
1. So how did you hear about English Sabla?
Found the link randomly, forgot where. Nabhan's blog maybe.
2. Which sabla do you enjoy reading the most? Why?
I do not really notice in which section the thread is, but probably the General Discussions, I.T -love it but it is dead-, Politics, and Religion.
4. Why Snooky? (in love with the comic?)
What comic!? In grd. 7 we went to the cinema and watched Save The Last Dance, there was a guy in the movie called Snooky, so this stupid girl told everyone to call me Snooky because from her messed up perspective, it somehow "suited" me. I did not mind it except for some times when it got annoying for an unknown reason, but it grew on me.
5. Who're the top 5 members on your list?
Lym
Nosa
Senorita
Tiarathrones
Morphaknight
Toxic Honey
Miss G
Mesmie
Ti3gib
Frozen Echo
Sting
6. Who're the top 3 mods on your list?
Lym
7. How has sabla changed since the day you joined?
Was the perfect place, and now became just an ordinary good forum.
8. Did you make any friends here?
Yeah.
9. Did sabla manage to change your opinion or perspective about anything?
Maybe without my noticing, but I can't remember such a thing.
My Qs:
1. Do you like reserving your true self or are you an open book?
It is not like I love the anonymousity, I just feel it is something I have to do. I like revealing myself to one certain person whose identity change with each life phase, they all dumped me. :cutexD:
2. What do you like most about ES? And what do you like least?
I like the discussions and the presence of different members with different characters the most. I hate it when non-Muslims try to insult my religion and always try hard to find flaws in Islam, which is all no use. I also dislike some cocky mods.
3. Everyone sometimes has impressions about others. According to what would you judge people?
I am crazy, I think I can read people. My judgment is usually baseless, I am planning on erasing the prejudice from my self and the world though. But mostly I judge after some conversations and observations.
4. Does the opinion of your friends or those close to you affect yours? Or are you someone who only follows his own views?
I follow my own views, I would take some advice from few very certain people, but I would still follow my own if I did not like the advice. This caused me deep shit after each time I was wrong.
5. Did anything ever upset you in this forum or would you say it's just a forum and therefore it doesn't affect me?
Several times, but I forget about it right away, not worth it.
Ur nick name.... what does it mean & Y have U chosen it?
You're question is answered above, I do not know what Snooky means or what a Snooky is.
Blue_Chi 03-01-07, 01:55 PM - I've seen you post at Sara's Vanilla Stars Forum, and then probably at VS2. Do you still post in that forum? Do you notice any cultural differences between ES and VS?
- Did your membership to ES make you interested in visiting Oman?
- Did you learn anything about Oman from Sabla, which you did not know before?
- The Qatari culture is VERY different from that of Palestine and the rest of Al Sham. Which of these two cultures do you find yourself more representative of?
- What do you like the most about LYM? (Pronounced Lim)
- What do you think of HH Shaikha Mooza?
- What do you think are the top five attractions worth visiting in Qatar.
Black Lolly 03-01-07, 02:07 PM - What are persons first impressions about you most of the time?
- What day would you love\want to relive (wether it is to change an action or a day you enjoyed)?
What are the three most importnat things to you in life?
- I've seen you post at Sara's Vanilla Stars Forum, and then probably at VS2. Do you still post in that forum? Do you notice any cultural differences between ES and VS?
Vanilla Stars is currently closed, the recent admin closed it because he was too busy to look after it. The good news is, me and some other guy are going to re-open it very soon hopefully as two admins. The cultural difference is vast...well not that vast, but it is noticeable. Omanis are very westernized and most of them do not consider religion when judging and or doing anything else. Qataris are different, they are very modern and recently became to live surprisingly very casually, even probably more than Omanis, but the cultural values and all the other beliefs are the priority. I realize I drifted from the answer to the question, but probably this is the answer you were looking for.
- Did your membership to ES make you interested in visiting Oman?
Yeah.
- Did you learn anything about Oman from Sabla, which you did not know before?
Absolutely, I knew nothing about Oman before.
- The Qatari culture is VERY different from that of Palestine and the rest of Al Sham. Which of these two cultures do you find yourself more representative of?
I have never been to Palestine, was born and lived all my life in Qatar. I have equal number of Palestinian and Qatari friends. Frankly, I am not sure if I represent on of the above, I do not even represent any of my relatives, I do not follow a certain culture. Mixture of both.
- What do you like the most about LYM? (Pronounced Lim)
The way she manages to handle things, her powerful opinions and perspectives, and her sense of humor.
- What do you think of HH Shaikha Mooza?
Are you kidding me!? I love her.
- What do you think are the top five attractions worth visiting in Qatar.
Maybe I am saying this because humans do not appreciate the precious unless they loose it, but I do not find any attractions. A visitor can finish the country in probably four hours. But if someone was to come for the first time I would defiantly recommend going to all the seas and shores, beautiful water and sand here. Get to know the Qatari people, very modern and disciplined, nice people. Education in general and is remarkable, I can say it clearly that Qatar is one of the internationally leading countries in education. Education City is defiantly a place worth visiting. The pace of change and development in Qatar is very fast, you could even notice that if you live here for a short while. Souq Wagef is a great market where they tried to give an impression of going back in time, they succeeded, it is a great place. Do you want names of certain places in Qatar?
- What are persons first impressions about you most of the time?
Everyone thinks I'm an aggressive person, probably the eyebrows. Frankly thoug, it even became annoying and irritating that everyone would think I am a trouble maker before even talking to me. Everyone told me how different I looked to them after knowing me well than just the physical image.
- What day would you love\want to relive (wether it is to change an action or a day you enjoyed)?
None, can't think of any. Though I would love it if I could answer this question in the future.
What are the three most importnat things to you in life?
Knowledge, success, and comdey.
Blue_Chi 03-01-07, 02:41 PM Thanks for your great replies Snooky. A very significant issue that the majority of foreign members do not realise here is that the English Sabla does not represent the Omani society and it does not reflect anything of its culture, a person that we would call a regular Omani, or a 3omani qu7, would not know how to speak English, and even if he did, he would not be posting on an English forum. The regular Omani that you find off the street would actually be very religious, not wealthy, living a simple life. Oman is very much different than Qatar in that there is a great ethnic diversity and the economical status of the citizens varies to a great extent. (Omani people work at filling stations, fastfood restaurants, and grocery shops.) The culture of Oman is very interesting to observer, howeve, reading the English Sabla is not really going to help much. :D
Heh...I agree. But you people are Omani, you live in Oman, You represent Oman. You're young you represent Oman's future. I know judging a whole country is not possible with an online forum, but what I want to say is that people should take Omanis like you into consideration when judging Oman and Omanis. Oman is in fact very different than Qatar, I mentioned that, it is actually very noticeable. (Qatari people do not work at filling stations, fastfood restaurants, and grocery shops, do not even try looking). Probably Qataris are the wealthiest Arabs.

Do better in High School, be less stubborn with some people who abandoned me because of things I did, appreciate friends whom I lost now.

Someone you do not know, my friend.

Males: Wudjab, Frozen Echo, Jeff, Hitman, and Nabhan.
All might make me think sometimes, not necessarily positive things, might as well change my mood.

Ah it does.

lol
wts new hows liiiife ?
As usual
wt do u think about saddam thingy ?
Hmm. If I became comfortable while replying to this, it will take 3 pages, I will try to summarize as much as possible. I can personally defend anything charged against Saddam and win any case if I was to debate for Saddam -starting with Dujail and ending with Kuwait- I think he was a great a leader and everything he did was for a reason, did many mistakes, but all were sacrificial. Hanging Saddam on the first day of Eid and in one of the Hurum months is an insult, in fact hanging him alone is, it should have been done the military way.
how do u look like ? lol
Very normal. Do you want details?
the coolest member ?
Can't think of any wallah.
the funnyest member ?
Hitman
the most boring member ?
Most, almost all, of the members are boring.
the jerkest member ? lol
You maybe ? j/k :cutexD:

Derailed was the madness. Also like:
Lucky Number Slevin
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan
Me, Myself, and Irene
The Lake House
Troy
Jackie Chan movies
Beh...this question is unfair.
List all of your goals and the things you want to achieve!
Gain knowledge, succeed, get rich, marry her, have sex...more often.
Great person; great interview!
A "snook" is a nose. If you "**** your snook" at somebody, it means that you put your nose up in the air at them; you scorn them.
"Snooky" probably means somebody with a prominent nose.
Here are some questions:
Should girls shave their legs?
Should men who are going bald shave their heads?
Should smart people get to boss stupid people around?
What color shoes should you wear to a job interview?
What town in Palestine is your family from?
Have you ever visited outside the Middle East? Where?

Just a second, if you what your nose? Because I can't find the word f*ck fitting, even b*tch and sh*t are not working. The best part is that I never related my self to noses.
Should girls shave their legs?
If she was one of the girl kind similar to these Europeans who have little hair on their hands and legs, then no. I actually like that European type of girls, with little hair, it does not imply to Europeans only, but they are known for this issue. But if it would turn into a garden, shaving is mandatory, because then she might as well start scratching her balls and it will get...disturbing.
Should men who are going bald shave their heads?
Yeah, and polish too. Actually it is a personal thing, but if I am the case, I would skin it.
Should smart people get to boss stupid people around?
I surrender. I failed to find the hidden wisdom in this question.
What color shoes should you wear to a job interview?
I am probably the most random person you have come across, but dude. I say depends on the kind and environment of the job.
What town in Palestine is your family from?
Gazza
Have you ever visited outside the Middle East? Where?
France, Germany, Netherlands, and Malaysia.

Somebody took out the word I wrote, which is not a vulgar word, and put asterisks instead! :p
If you pull back the catch on your gun, it is called "cocking" your gun. It's not a bad word, look it up in the dictionary!
If you put your nose in the air, it is called "cocking your snook", it's not a bad word and has nothing to do with a man's organ. That's what I wrote, "if you **** your snook". MODS: This is NOT a vulgar word; you can use it in polite company even with old grandmothers; please look it up before you delete it!
I don't know why they took the word out, it wasn't the f- word. I think the mod just didn't understand it.
Your family is from Gaza, wow! I hope they are all out and not suffering the mess there now. God bless them all if they are in there... Gaza has been forgotten by the world. I wish they'd give green cards to anybody who wants to come here to the US. Palestinians are good, smart people and for those who wanted to come it would benefit us as well as them.
Vbulletin has a word filter which will automatically * out words in its offensive word dictionary.
c.o.c.k and d.i.c.k are both flagged as offensive, even though they have perfectly decent meanings.

Thanks, Wudjab! :p
It's "c.o.c.k. a snook"; that means to put your nose in the air at someone.
How about c.o.c.k. a c.o.c.k. what does it mean? :hyper:
Interesting Interview, got to know things about you that I never knew :)

Nice interview :D
- Do you believe in second chances?
Not always, it is possible to get a second, third, or 8564nd chance, but sometimes you can screw something up and that's it.
- Can you love more than one girl?
No, not at the same time no.
- Are you into tall/short chics?
Short, or my height, girls who are 177 minus are considered tall though, but I prefer shorties...or my height. :cutexD:
- Who is the one person you always run to when/if life turns its back on you?
Weed <-- sarcasimingly means no one.
- What do you think of public display of affection?
Unnecessary, unless if it is for something with a bigger meaning like nationalism -or nationalism mixed with some anti-nationalism in my case- but I am sure this is not the kind you had in mind, I still think it is unnecessary but no probs if it does not exceed the limits.
- Would you ever make out with your partner in public?
If it is my wife -as in legally married- and I was in NYC, yeah.
Thank you Snooky! I'm flattered :mushroom:
WoLF DoLL 20-01-08, 11:34 PM Very interesting.. I've always wondered where you're from.
