I saw one of my old women learning how to use the computer to write emails and play solitaire... the thing here is... after practicing so much she told us that she had a headache and the muscles in her head are hurting.
We were told that was lack of use :XD:
Now adays in Japan they create puzzles and games for old people to train their brains and prevent them form memory loss and what not.

My questions are:
-Is it possible for people's brains to be strained and in return cause brain damage?
-I'm sure many know the scientist who walks around in qurum or sarooj. Is that what happened to him?
-If it's true we only use 10% of our brain's capacity usually... how is brain damage possible?...

lastly:
So should the brain be treated like a muscle?? (no laughing) By this I mean... it needs warm up before being used massively???

my info here's a bit unorganized... I hope my confusion gets through...

Brain damage can be caused by many conditions, such as: injury/trauma, infections, tumors, stroke/hemorrhage, epilepsy, drug poisoning...etc

But NOT due to what you mentioned

-I'm sure many know the scientist who walks around in qurum or sarooj. Is that what happened to him?

I am not sure what really happened to that gentleman

-If it's true we only use 10% of our brain's capacity usually... how is brain damage possible?...

This is answered in Q 1

lastly:
So should the brain be treated like a muscle?? (no laughing) By this I mean... it needs warm up before being used massively???

In one way YES, you can apply the famous saying "if you don't use it, you lose it". Mental exercise has been linked to delaying dementia of old age & even linked to Alzheimer's disease. Check the link I provided at the end

my info here's a bit unorganized

Thanks for the mental exercise

Just as an individual can experience physical fatigue, then same goes for mental fatigue

However, the latter does not cause brain damage

I am sure all of us have experienced mental fatigue

It would be nice to define a brain damage...
most likely, hitman is referring to major damage leading to a clinical sign..

TT, i guess you are referring to behavioural or psychological change after heavy mental exercise. In that case, there are many behavioural conditions which are related to intelligence such as attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADD). Many behavioural scientists found many of these mental disorders in Einstein

^^really? due to what? and what type of disorders???

I was basically referring to the exact thing that happened to the shatti scientist which some call 7 up for some reason. But I was referring to his sudden loss of mind.

yeah i believe that's true..the more you use the brain and memory, the more you exercise it..it's kinda a muscle...if you watch tv or use the comupter too much then the brain cells actually die...
and i believe that i can name at least one person with brain damage!! LOL ^^^kidding

Yes, thats where you got it from. I kept my paper on my dad's desk as the exam finished, so that he can read about the game he has been playing (Sudoku)
