I think so, i've seen a pic of female footbal players in a newspaper..
But i dont know if they are the "national" team..

No we dont have one. There is only one team, that is for Bowsher club.

Well, as NightFace mentioned, it's not a national team, it's a club, Bowshar club.

Boushar club really have very good players and actually some of them really beat guys. However, they're young... Between 15 and 22.

Boushar club has participated once last year in an international championship which was held in Abu Dhabi, and they got other offers to paricipate in international championships but they didn't participate because the girls were busy with school and stuff.

The Omani football union once issued an annoucement saying that this team which participated in Abu Dhabi representing Oman is not a national female football team. It is not an official Omani team, it's only a club and they consider them fulfulling their desire in playing football, but the idea of having an official national football team for females will never come true.

The country doesn't want to make a national team for females, although there are really a bunch of girls who play very very very well and you can see them in Boushar Club. One of the girls study with me at school and she is really perfect! She plays football for over 7 years and she is really amazing mashallah.

I wonder why the country doesn't want to recognise this team as a national team. The country already helps and supports other national teams for females, but why not making a football team for females?

I have long wished to see a Cabinet Team v a team, 4-15minutes only, to raise charity (sweetening method) funds from entree fee and by selling the photographs of those vip to the public as a suvenier of the occasion. However, guess who is to be referee ;)

i once played with a all girls team vs. all boys team. and boy girls know how to play football. even tho we beat em, but the winning was only cuz we played almost everyday and had too much practice. but if they get the same amount of practice as we did, they wouldve beat'n us bad

Well .. Girls and Football .. we have seen so many interest from girl in the
game in the last period .. We have seen more interest from the government
in the other games to establish girls teams . . But National Team for football
thats going to take time to appear in the surface and people can discuss
it in more details ..

I know a friend whom playes in the football team....
Its nice to see girls involving in this sport ;)

mm....i dont think its a good game for girls beacause its quite hard.

The majority females I know are football freak and play on a weekly basis, so I think having a Football team would have quite of many members but I dont think they will become INTERNATIONAL or even have games on local TV
