Which one would you rather own? a sony PSP or nintendo's DS?

Definetly a DS. Although I hate sony with all my heart, i do keep an openmind about videogaming and thought i would try the psp.. the analogue control thingy was kinda hard to control and the loading times were HUGE.. some going as far as minutes.. I mean this isn't a portable.. a portable is something that gives you a quick gaming fix..

Even as a multimedia device, I don't see it that special. I personally don't like "all in one" products because, while cheap as they maybe compared to "one of a kind" products, they are low quality and aren't effective.

DS...
I've been taking a break from sony... and to be honest am only interested in their actual consoles...waiting for the new games.
DS already has the games I've been waiting for... so if I had to choose now... it's DS.

A psp, the DS screen is too small and I find the psp easier to use. The touch screen in the DS makes things confusing :os

I love my PSP, it's got everything. But i never tried DS so i dont know..
When playing games, the PSP does take time to load.. but I find it bearable.

i've got both but if someone asked me to take one of them i'll say the ds but i'll hand it over after i finish FFIII :p

both consoles are great but i prefair the psp cause you have many uses of it not just games :)

I like both but, I'm more into Sony.

PSP all the way you can emulate anything including PS1 games and you have MG:PO which owns anything the DS can dish out.

Well, I kind of like PSP and never really tried DS!
PSP is sort of easier to use.. but I suppose if I do start using DS, I'll get the hang of it in no time! :D

If someone offered me a PSP with 5 games Or a DS with 5 games, I'd take the PSP, games on the DS are more like Ps1, But PSP is more Like Ps2, Thats why I like it.

PSP..i like it..it has lots of uses..i never tried the DS..maybe if i tried it i'll like it more..but im not into the games only so :p

PSP, it has alot of features, and it has almost all old school emulators, which is actually the only reason why i bought it

looks cheap? have you seen the ds lite? that thing looks like an ipod with its sleek design... speakin of cheap thats why many people are buying the ds which is worth 100-130 bucks instead of the 250 price of the psp with its half assed ps2 ports..and right now sales show the ds is way ahead in the portable gaming business.

although in terms of hardware the PSP is better,in terms of originality the DS is better
most of the PSP games are originally stuff on the PS2 like GTA,MGS,BURNOUT n many other,which means i dont see a point in gettin it if you already have a PS2
the DS has many original games(trauma centre,phoenix wright) that are exetremely original (yeh i know that they are starting to port them for the Wii but still) although it might not have impressive graphics
heck in japan the DS LITE was sold out on the first day and all the highest selling games in japan right now are the DS games(even more than the consoles games)

im thinking about gettin one but im confused
i think the NDS is better n has more original games n it it will get FINAL FANTASY XII:REVENANT WINGS the sequel to my fav FF game for ps2
but the PSP seems to have better hardware n can play emulators n will get CRISIS CORE:FINAL FANTASY VII a sequel for my fav FF game for ps1
well between the DS n the PSP i choose the DS(since the PSP since to mostly have ports)
but between CRISIS CORE and REVENANT WINGS i choose CRISIS CORE(coz i like FF7 more)
so...any help guys ? :p
