I've been waitting so long for this game well i got it and finished it but i didn't enjoy it as i did with FFX the graphical side are marvelous but the game is short it will take you 2 to 4 days to finish the story is cool and the fighting system too.....mmm....mini games r cool but i feel there is something is missing with the game dunno what........i enjoyed playing FFVII , FVIII , FIX. FFX much more then this one.....but you won't regret playing it i've changed my rating i'll give it

2 to 4 days.... that's a whole lot shorter than the usual... this must mean they're making something a lot better after it...

on another note... I don't think any game could beat final fantasy with graphics... they're the best.

Iam playing the game now, but iam stuck at an annoying boss...other than that its cool & pretty easy.

umm im surprised at what some of you people said
FFX n FFXII are made by a totally different team(the FFX team is has some common memebrs with the FFXIII team)
the charecter designers are different ( Tetsuya Nomura for FFX,FFXIII and Akihiki Yoshida for FFXII) and the directors are different (Yoshinori Kitatse for FFX,Matomou Torriyama for FFXIII and YASMUMI MATSUNO for FFXII) and the composers also(Nobou Uematsu for FFX,Hitoshi Sakimoto for FFXII and MASASHI HAMAUZU for FFXIII)
development on FFXII started from 2000 to 2006 and for FFXIII started on 2005 (by the time they showed the FFVII PS3 TECHNICAL DEMO at E3)
anyways,back to the main topic,FFXII's main story is pretty good and longer than some other games but if you want MORE stuff do the sidequests,they are taking me 190 hours until now n i still didnt finish them until now
actually i think FFXII is alot better than since FFX didnt offer anything new to the genre except a bad immature story and a horrifying english dub and the battle system which is a very simply copy of the old-school system
i thought FFXII is alot better because it has a more mature storyline and better charecters(balthier and basch are WAAAY better than the pathetic charecters in FFX like WAKKA and KIMAHRI)
id give it an 8.5/10 coz i liked the story and the battle system is the most innovative and best system ive seen so far though the game is just TOO easy(which is my only complaint about it)

I'm playing it right now. So far so good. The battle system has been enhanced. And instead of the sphere grid in FFX2 there's this new license system. I'm loving the game.
