My home page keeps redirecting to another page when I open IE, the home page address still the same under tools=> Options!

Is it some virus or spyware?

How to get rid of it?

I have Norton unti-virus.

Oh that happened to me once! I tried changing the hompage but it always goes back to the same one that i didn't choose in the first place.. i think it is a virus or something..
What i did was restored my computer to an earlier date (before that started happening) and the problem went away.. START=> Accessories => System Tools => System Restore. Hope that helps.. Good luck :)

I will try to do that, but I hope restoring will not delete some files.

Norton is crap! Download avast! (http://avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html)

Do a scan, I think it will clean this ad-ware you have.

It shouldn't delete saved files.. only change back certain settings + if you aren't happy with the result after restoring you can always restore it back to the way it used to be..

example: if ur using hotbar or yahoo bar or any of these softwares that use internet...in their options u will find a place where there is a tick on having their website as ur homepage...untick that because even if u have ur own setting in ur defult browser, some softwares overcome it.
