Wadi Adai was at full flow today...

A Helicopter was there to rescure someone stuck in a pickup...

The rain was wonderful! But, did it cause some damage! The Qurum road near Al-Harthy was a mess! Then ahead were cars crashed on top of each other, they were Zig-Zag! Damn! That van looks awful and I thought I'd seen the worst. The Wadis were amazing, very deep like the sea!
This was the heaviest rain experience for me, too.

my friends went dinning in Nandos when it happened, they got stuck till 12 midnight a 4 wheel car come to pick them
ofcourse their car is ruined now but hamdulilah...everyone is fine and inshala blessings will come

I went to ccc today morning. Even from the inside there is a lot of mud. You cant walk outside, my 50ro slippers are now ruined! I took some pictures, will post them later

CCC and the area around the Bangladesh Embessy got affected by the wadi... Even in Oman they are not free from floods...

Mc D employee said that they were knee deep in mud...

Sad stufff... yeaaah the weather was awsome but the side effects were too much!! I mean till today the roads are all muddy!! I think more drainages shud be put on the roads to avoid pools of water here n there...

I recieved these pics in an email titled "Quriyat Road", which is why I thought I'd inlcude it in the posts title.

I have no other choice but to assume that happened on the Quriyat Road (i.e. the road leading to Quriyat) :rolleyes:
