Do you face difficulties reading Arabic text in hotmail or Yahoo?

I found the attached file on one of the forums.

I tried it on my other PC which I don't use frequently and it worked :)
But I'm concerned about something, it the patch safe?

Can any of the IT whizes in the Sabla check it and let us know.
I'm still hesitant about using it on my main PC.

What sort of problem your having in Hotmail or Yahoo? Is it viewing Arabic text in some emails?

I would recommend that you do not use this patch. It doesn't even make sense nor logical of what it is supposed to do. The images along in the zip file illustrates some procedure of setting the language. But that is about it.

Your main problem is that you cant read arabic in yahoo mail and hotmail. Or that you can read once you change the encoding to arabic ??

Yes, I need to change the encoding every time I want to read an Arabic email (or most of the time). This is really debilitating.

I tried the patch and it sloved the problem. So, I don't need to change the encoding, some how, it figures the encoding out an changes it.

But I'm concerned weather it's safe or not.

I looked more into the patch files, it doesnt look harmful. But sometimes if not most, you can easily get a trojan via such methods.

Since it work then i guess that solved your problem.

Isn't this all about having the language in the windows pack ?
and adding it to the languages box or some sort of this...

You can fix the problem without using the patch by follewing these steps:

1- Go To Start

2- RUN

3- Type (Regedit) click OK

4- In Registry Editor, Click on Edit, then Click on Find

5- In the dialog Box type (C_28591.NLS)

6- Delete the Key (C_28591.NLS) From the registry

replete the steps 4 to 6 to be suer the key (C_28591.NLS) is deleted
