Ok so i was deleting some junk crappy programmes that i dont need from my computer
and i found this 'sound max' programe, ive never saw or used before so i immediatly deleted it
Now i realised i cant play music without it
it really sucks....:shy:


where can i download it again?
anyone?

You cant play other media files without it?! You are not using Windows Media Player or Real Player or any other sort of media players?!

Nightface= Noooo. Soundmax are audio drivers for asus motherboards.

So then you deleted the driver. I guess the SoundMAX page takes to you ASUS site, so you can get the support.

Which PC do you have? Or is it branded or assembled? If branded which brand and model is it ? How do you know your motherboard is asus??

well asus dosnt make the sound card that is builtin the motherboard .. most builtin sound cards that cames with motherboard are either from realtek or analog devices(SoundMAX) and a few from creative .. each company has many different models ..

well about the motherboard model name.. there are alot of ways to identify it. u can open the case and look for it on the motherboard or when u boot the pc it will show up during the bios post( the screen where it shows its checking the memory).
