umm pretty much all of my waking hours have the laptop connected online.. but im actually ON it for maybe 5 hours a day?

3) What are your goals (or dreams) for the future?
Right now i'm just living the student life, taking things one year at a time..
So i'd say my current goal is to graduate in 2 years time inshallah, and we'll take it from there :)

4) Which person inspires you the most in life?
I'd have to say my father.. he started off as a Math's major in university, and somehow ended up as a Director for an oil company!

5) Name few of your favorite dishes.
Chicken pasta, sushi, chinese food, aand coconut chicken/fish :)

6) Which countries have you visited until now?
hmm, UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Holland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, UK, The US, Canada, Thailand, Switzerland, Zanzibar (Tanzania).. i think that's it.

The English sabla Qs:

1) How did you hear about the English Sabla?
Orion/Pretender used to randomly send me links to some funny comments he made on the sabla, and after that i'd just browse through occasionally.. until i really wanted to comment on a debate about something or other, which is why i signed up :)


2) Why *NK 105*?
Well NK are the initials to my first and last name.. 105 just happened to be the number to my locker in High School.. hehe and i guess the name stuck!!

3) Which Sabla within this forum do you visit the most?
I visit most of them.. but i guess Arts, General, and Lifestyle.
4) Did you make any new friendships with any sabla members since joining?
Yep i've had a couple of people add me to MSN.. Nosa and Solidus, although i've never actually met them before, they seem pretty cool!
5) What do you like and dislike about the English Sabla?
hmm i like the debates, and hearing other people's opinions..
but hate it when things are taken too personally, and debates just end up blowing up until they have to be locked.
6) Did you ever recommend this forum to anyone?
Sure i've mentioned it a couple of times to different people, some are guests, and just read instead of actually post though.
7) Which members caught your attention the most since you joined?
I'd say mostly the mods.. TripleTee, BM, Lym, Lib., and a couple of other people.. TH and Nosa..

1) you seem to enjoy watersports, how often do you do them?
I haven't actually been out for any for quite some time, just because i've been busy with school, and i dont think it'd be fun swimming out in the winter time in canada. But in the summer mostly, and when i'll be home for xmas too inshallah.
2) where do you dive?
I have done dives in Oman and Thailand.. but so far the dive's in Oman have been the best. With so many different creatures, there's soo much to see underwater, it's like a whole new world down there. I've dived by Fahal Island, even done a night dive there which was pretty cool.. and Diminiyat Islands was really nice too.
3) what made you choose marketing as a profession?
My major is still undeclared, but i have 3 majors i'm considering.. Marketing, Finance, and Economics. Marketing is a nice profession, cuz your always up to date with the latest products in the market, and i love giving presentations to people too.. but it's still an option.
4) I see you're a movie and music fanatic ... which movie or song hit the top of your list?
A movie that i've been raving about is "The Prestige" not sure if it's out in Oman yet, but it's a reaally good movie that leaves you talking about it even days after you've seen it. Definitely should win a grammy or something.
5) if I gave you 3 wishes... what would they be?
hmm.. For it to at least start snowing over here (we're in Dec. and it still hasn't snowed!!), try snowboarding, and give me the guts to go bunjee jumping!!

Commerce was the practical thing to study, every business in the world will need somebody in Commerce. For Finance, Accounting etc. so, why not?
I like that it can be challenging, so just makes me wanna do better i guess.

Learning from my mistakes make me stronger, wanting to please people all the time makes me weak.:cry:
