Genetic science has been advanced so rapidly after the Human Genome Project.
It is becoming more clear why some people are susceptible to disease while others not. Why some patient respond to drug and other not.
Recently, studies identified a gene which is responsible in breaking down caffeine (gene: CYP1A2). Variation in this gene caused some people to be more susceptible to heart attack when they take coffee. [ study done at university of Toronto]
Thus I am interested i the following question: will you quit taking coffee if you find that you carry the bad gene?
i know there are many coffee lovers
