View Full Version : how much discomfort are you willing to put yourself in
Black Lolly 24-11-06, 01:57 PM to look good?
My feet feel ready to fall off after a day of shopping in peep toes (I initially assumed i was going for breakfast and not a dress hunt). I had the option of taking them off ,,and walking barefoot,,,, or buying another pair of flats. Which i felt at the time,,,, that i would rather have both feet chopped off and fed to me,,, than do.
Most people say comfort matters more. In most cases i find a medium, although,,, i'd probably wear a dress with thorns stabbing into my back if it were really gorgeous.
:shy:
you?
TripleTee 24-11-06, 02:05 PM that's why I look for things that are comfy and good-looking.
but if the case is a party... scratch comfort... just look good :p
BliNd_MelOn 24-11-06, 02:46 PM lol! nah.. Im not a sucker for fashion.. and I do believe I still loog good while being comfy in my clothes at the same time.. ;)
Fdaitny 24-11-06, 03:08 PM i'd probably wear a dress with thorns stabbing into my back if it were really gorgeous.

I do that! Lool!! Just not with thorns.. You just have to look like everything's comfy, and you'll be even better looking!
But sometimes, I don't really care, and I dress comfy, but apparently I still manage to look good! :dev: LooL!
Libellula 26-11-06, 05:30 PM I look for both comfort and style. I hate ending up with sore feet and blisters. If the shoes make my feet suffer, then they're not coming out of the closet again (unless I'm just gonna wear them for an hour and I'm not gonna be walking much)
i think if it was a party and i had to suffer for about 4 hours? then i think i can handle it..but i never go shopping with heels or anything that might cause me discomfort..
beauty hurts ;)
Rossonero 27-11-06, 03:10 AM Girls here wear mini skirts and sleeveless stuff in this blistering cold, just to look good and get laid
fatamooo 27-11-06, 04:32 AM High heels are as much as I'm willing to take for fashion and even that only on occasion, but anything more than that is a no-no. I wouldn't forsake the warmth of my lovely lovely but dull-looking jacket just to show people i'm wearing a nice top or something stupid like that.

I don't think they are just trying to get laid. Women are not men, in that respect.
I think they just enjoy looking good and getting attention. They can't help it.
And I have seen what you described, which is quite funny actually.
Girls who are wearing almost nothing in the freezing cold and they are all shivering and clutching themselves, trying to stay warm.
As a man, you can't help but laugh.

Oblivious 27-11-06, 04:07 PM I usually wear comfy stuff and I do look good, I rarely wear stuff that don't make me feel comfortable just to look good, in the end, I'd be hurting and guess what....that won't look good! lol
