It's a shocker when u see what it takes to get the "after" effect.. compared to what the girl actually looks like.
This is Dove's campaign for real beauty. Check it out, and comment.. http://youtube.com/watch?v=fZoyfhG0Wwk&mode=related&search=

umm, sensation? you got me confused..as usual :XD:
but..isn't that a dove video? i mean dove wanted to show us what goes on behind the scenes right?

i think that they got an average looking lady to show you how can they manipulate..

why get a model if any woman can look beautiful with photoshoping here and there

*sigh* :bored:

I absolutely liked this clip, which by the way is also featured on their official website CampaignForRealBeauty (www.campaignforrealbeauty.com), and I really liked the message from the clip too.

By the way, is it just me or does anyone else see nothing wrong at all with the way the model looked before they made the silly alterations?

Thanks for sharing it with us *NK 105* :)

I find here beutiful before the make up :)

PLUS, the major change was when they changed her in photo shop.it wasnt the make-up.

It has alot to do with Dove. They are using this message to put it across to people that their products are for normal people.

Most other beauty-care manufacturers put these ultra thin women on to promote their products but women feel that they can't ever measure up to them.

With Dove's approach, women can look at their adverts and say, "ah, I CAN achieve that".. plus, it's doing a world of good against the latest anorexic-like fashion models that so many young girls dream to be like.

It's about time that the media repaired some of its mistakes when promoting beauty. The message of what beauty is, that has been passed out by the media over a few decades now, is doing alot of harm in the name of money.
