Let us see who has better knowledge in this field

What I know is that mineral water is superior to pure water, because when I say pure I mean water that has been purified such as by filtration

Natural mineral water has a specific source which is away & protected from pollution

huh ! ,, well if you mean mineral water as the water that we buy in bottles & so & pure water is the natural water ,, then I think mineral water is better ,, although that doesnt mean that pure water is aint healthy !
Maybe because the pure water sometimes include kinds of bacteria & so ,, so i think the mineral water is better ! since its pure alerady !

Mineral water is better because of the trace elements it has (magnesium, Fe,Sodium, Chloride, Cupper..etc).

However, there no such a demand on them if you are eating your normal diet. Trace elements are also found in juices...

thus drinking pure water will not kill you...

Pure water also called De-ionized water and Distilled water. It consists of pure H2O, with minute amount of electrolytes, hence the name. It can be produced by reverse osmosis and ion exchange. Given the properties of H2O, the pure water will absrob the metal ions in the body (blood) via osmosis. High quantaties of pure water could lead to food poisoning.

Mineral water that we have is either naturally filtered water (i.e. springs) or pure water mixed with another source of water filled with minerals. All desalination plants mix the pure water they produce with the feed water to obtain a balanced ratio of minerals to water.

I don't remember the maximum BOD and other quantaties allowed in water. Ichigo knows more since he took the water treatment module. :)
