Milan target Ronaldinho has been confirmed as the FifPro Player of the Year for the second campaign running.
The Barcelona ace, who won the Liga and the Champions League with Barca last season, polled the highest figures from the 43,000 players who were allowed to vote.
Meanwhile, four of Italy’s World Cup winning side – Gigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Gianluca Zambrotta, Andrea Pirlo – and Serie A star Kaka were named in the FifPro World XI line-up.
The former Juventus trio of Lilian Thuram, Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry were also included in the side.
In the other awards on offer, the FifPro Young Player title went to Barcelona and Argentine sensation Leo Messi.
Manchester United’s controversial winger Cristiano Ronaldo won the Young Player Fan prize after his World Cup performances.
