Health Care : Govermental vs Private !

I know we don't have that "complete" private health sector , yet we do have
few private hospitals plus many clinics n pharmacies.

Some just do not TRUST govermnetal hospitals/ health centres , so they go for the private ones ?


So WHAT do you think ? which do you prefer ? private or governmental ? and why ?

In bharain the privat hopitals r a lot better then the government one..

wel always say if u wanna kill urself go to the government 1 .. though u know iv discovered.. that they r good! but y that Rep. i have no idea..

in the end we only go to privat hospitals .. n they have opened like a zelion new hospitals !! so be col ! hehe

For those who can afford paying the private clinics/hospitals will always prefer it over the government hospitals, the main reason that I have noticed is the rapidity of the laboratory investigations & radiographic imaging

The government hospitals won't accept any patient unless it's an emergency case or a booked case or if the patient has referral from the primary healthcare clinic, thus there is alot of time being wasted in all this period unofortunately

For serious cases, and cases that needs contnious supervision (Gyne), I would go to government hospitals .. I think they are exposed to more cases and thus are more experienced. If I need something to be treated fast and I dont have the patience to go for the government one, I would go to a private clinic.

I am very surprised that there are few women who like to have thier babies in private hospitals .. personally I think thats very risky!
