I somehow find a colored dishdasha a little out of place. Maybe it's because we're so used to seeing them only in white and the colored ones really stand out.

When you go out somewhere other than work/school. Also on special occasions, coloured dishdasha looks more elegant & nicer.

Coloured dishdashas can look sexy. The trick is to pick reasonable colours.

I think coloured dishdashas are more attractive than white ones. It depends on the colour though. There are some which appear buttery in colour and can look very cheap. Matte-coloured materials are the best.

nothing wrong with colored dishdasha's at all.. Whatever colour really except " alwan faq3a ", red or pink! colours like black, blue, baby blue, fustuqi, green, light yellow, gold, paige, brown, maroon, dark purple, etc. are fine for me but its either Very Very Dark or Very Very Light..

I think (I think), that some colored dishdasha can be consider 7aram (or makrooh). For example, the pink colored dishdasha, the color pink is obviously feminine and a man who wear pinky dishdasha is considered as "mutashabeeh bi elnsa'2" (imitating women) which our Prophet (pbuh) told us that it's 7aram. I just relate that 7adeeth ( which I don't remember it in the meanwhile) with the matter of colored dishdashas.

I normally think that Dishdasha should only be in white!
The color of cleanness (oh how should I dont know!).. But if it had to be in another color.. Then anything but pink! and yes I've seen it around! Not a pretty sight..

Black is.. elegant? I think usually worn on formal occasions.. Maybe not..
Grey is also nice.. Beige..no..It looks like worn-off-white..

I think in one sense yes the colour of a dishdasha wud reflect a persons personality. For instance, when a person is in a frmal place like work he should wear a white dishdasha coz it suites the surrounding same goes to students in schools or universities. If a person wears a black dishdasha for example to work, uni or school it will be so inappropriate, that person would be so out of place. This could reflect the person's personality as being, TOO-COOL-FOR-SCHOOL or unique and doesnt care about what people say or the person mite also be a loser who seeks for attention.
