Winning depends on the whole team, not one player. If you are voting for winning things, then go with what you coach said: Awards are for teams, not individual players!

If it is Footballer of the Year, then the player is awarded for HIS performance.

well, when they choose the player , one of the most important things gonna look at is his achievments with his team ! so i think the Italian r in favour since they got the WC, plus Henry i guess !

Henry just reached the final, both finals but Where was he in the team? in the Champs league Final it was like everything was loaded on his shoulder and he in my opinion did least effort.
