I think all the members here use the "Liner - Oldest First" display mode, but did anyone try the "Liner - Newest First"? I use it since the last 2 years why?

1- I use lower posts per page so it doesn't take long time to show, as we all know that the server which holding the ES is running heavy these days due to the high work load. So showing 5 threads per page takes far less time than 10 posts and 20 or 40. Especially that the code of the forum must redisply all threads (update) every post every time you display the page. So there is a big waste of bandwidth and time displying posts which you will never look at since they are older than the current discussion.
2- When I check a thread again to see the new posts, I find the newst posts at top then the older as follows, in that way scrolling down 1-5 posts all of them is new will be far more easier than scrolling down 10-40+ posts you have already read to reach the newest posts (mostly 2 or 3 new posts only among the 20 or 40 posts in your loaded page).
3- When there is a hot thread, which new posts come like rain, you don't have to scroll all the way down to see the new posts, or going to your control pannel to click on "go to last post", only refreshing the page will give you new post without any scrolling or headache.
Just to bring your attention to it, so tell me what do you think? Did you give it a try? If not, why don't? And if you have another display mode, tell us why you use it?
