We all know that Sabla iz gettin' bigger n bigger in term of memberz.
By checkin' the memberz list you'll see loadz of nicks for memberz who's just registered n never came back !

Plus (j/k) it seemz that new memberz have difficulty in findin' good nicks the reason lead them to come up with some wierd nicks, unreadable onez i myself can hardly know how to pronounce them :rolleyes:


So , Admin, why dont just go through the member list , n delete all the zero posts old memberz , lets say older than 3 yrs ? or whatever possible.!

some1 with zero posts , n registered 3-5 yrs ago will never come back 2 sabla coz simply he's forgotten about it , n if they wish all what they need is register again !

They can easily register again. Do you think that after 3 years, they will remember their passwords? I doubt it, I don't remember last years passwords. Do you think they are still using the same e-mail acount they registered with? Some of them won't. What is the possibility of a zero posts member coming to life after 3 years of hibernation? 1.0% max.

On the other hand, why will the moderators begin deleting old memberships? I don't know. How will the forum benefit from such action? It won't.

It is unneccesary IMHO.

i agree that the mods should delete the niknames with 0 posts!! Talal, the only difference between you and these members is that u've been using ur email and therefore wouldnt forget the password.. but they havent been using their account!!

they could e-mail the member to tell him/her that if s/he don't log in in the next 15 days his/her account will be delete.. simple :)

talal , moomad , crazyred...and many more are examples of members who registered a very long time ago and only became active years later..so as long as it does not effect us I still stick to the idea of leaving them around.

We can however delete the users who did not even bother to confirm their registration..I think we have around 50 or so of those.
