I was experimenting the focusing feature and trying to come up with something more close-up that show the details of my object which is the dragonfly in this photo. The purpose that I made the lower part coming darker is to help me showing the details of the dragonfly; that's by the lighting in the background of the upper part my photo. Obviously, such photos need patience and concentration and it took me around 15 minutes to get this photo right with shutter speed of 1/403 sec.

I hope you'll like it and comments are highly appreciated. :cutexD:

Wow, did you take that picture? Or just Edit it?
Either way you did a great job. You can seegreat detail in the wings and i even think the dragon fly's eyes are showing. I love the way its sitting on that twig, likes its ready to attack something. :6: And the blurred background makes the fly really stick out.
Good Job

Lovely =) I liked what you did with the lower and upper part. I like how the dragonfly is holding on the branch. Good shot.

Thank you guys, very appreciated ^_^

Mesmie, too dim? lol you need to understand photography more. It's not about holding the camera and taking snapshots from different angles and that's it. You need to match your colors, divide your photoarea, locate the focal points, observe what to blure and what to fade and so on. Thank you very much anyway. :D

The focus is very good..and u're very brave..i would never get so close to any bug for as long as I live unless it was dead. lol

I kinda miss seeing your digital art..so I hope you decide to create something soon. ;)

It's a good picture, but you should have increased the exposure to get the true colors of the object, because it's little bit dark, and in close-up photo you need to show more details in true colors and clarity. Maybe the camera itself is limiting you to take such a photo.

Salam.

Thank you all, I so much appreciate your comments really :)

Nezitic, the camera I used is a compact digital camera and not an SLR one so yeah I need a pro camera for a perfect image, but can you imagine that photo is taken by CC? ;) Thank you for your comments.
