Just wrote this, am so bored and wanted to add heat to this dead Sports Sabla!

Football – A way of Life:

Many have dedicated their lives to football. Many have dedicated their life to the club they support or even to the national team of their home country, some, to other countries.

People have chosen football as a way of life now; football is a huge part of them. It is what builds up in their lives now. Some even plan their whole day on football events.

By saying that football is a way of life, I don’t mean the supporters of some clubs only. Not the Die-hard fans only. I mean people who can never have enough of football. People who enjoy watching it no matter what.

Here is a scenario that is very common, it is not a scenario of people who say that football is a way of life:

Lets say, Italy are playing a match. Even if Italy played well, if they won, if they lost, drew or anything. They have this impression that Italy only know how to defend. They will not watch the match saying that it would not be a match they would enjoy.

People who say that football is a way of life, would say the opposite, as long as there are 22 men on the pitch, all fighting for the ball, for the team and the fans, then it would be enjoying. No matter how many tactics to make the game boring would be.

Sometimes you just need to keep that result you have, why risk? Its easy for people who just
”talk” to say that. It is easy for them to say: “Ok, the match will get boring now”. Picture yourself in the coach’s boots. Why would you want to risk that result just to entertain the people watching the game?

Yes, football is about enjoying yourself, it is about “Joga Bonito” or in other words: Play Beautiful. But in this age, that is not possible.

Why is that?

That is because Buisness plays a huge part in football and has corrupted football. All that the big clubs administration thinks of is Money, fame and number of jerseys sold.

Football is for fans to enjoy, not for club presidents to destroy.

We have witnessed how clubs can get destroyed by the greed of their presidents, by the promises they make to their fans, and break them. I don’t think I need to add an example to that because the example is very well known.

Fans get fooled by a president who gets a few clubs to a scandal, then destroy the happiness of a whole nation, and fans of the football at that nation. Just to give others a new reason to hate that football.

Football is for us to enjoy, a way of life for us to live. We should enjoy every part of it instead of discriminating a way of football and prejudging.

A true football lover would enjoy any match.

That was a delight to read =)
It's sure a way of life, a passion to live for me as well. The feelings that come over me whenever I watch my team play, their loss or win, both have great effects on me. It's an overwhelming feeling to even see their stadium and their home ground where they play.
I totally agree with some of the presidents ruining things over for the team and when they lust for money or fame of name only. Us fans care like no one else, about everything! All we want for our teams is victory and success. We don't let go of our team or no longer respect them if they lost say even 3 matches in a row! We'll always be dedicated and believe in our teams, we'll always stay loyal and true fans. Atleast for me, that's the way it is. I Love my team with all of my heart and soul!
