Amelia Wont move to Chelsea.

To spice up things:
Cassano is going to move to ... either this winter or in the summer.
L.Messi gona move to either italy or England!
Drogba is going to move to Milan.
Ronaldinho will try to move to adifferent club by this winter?
Ribbry is going to move to arsenal and take the premiership!

regardin' Amelia, i heard that he prefers to stay home, n dismissed move link to Blues!

n Ribery as i heard too, that Marselle chairman sayin' Ribery gonna stay with 'em!

As for Drogba, it gonna be stupid if Chlesea let him go , coz right now he's the scorin' machine for them, plus Sheva still abit lost in Stamford Bridge !

Cassano used to be Capillo's spioled kid back in Roma , but with Real seems things abit difference n he's always in the bench .

Ronaldinho hasn't shown any of his great skills since the world cup, not even in the Classico ! so there have been some talk regardin' his move to AC Milan , but who's gonna replace his place in BARCA ?! May be Messi ! this Argz guy really been showin' exceptiona lperformance ! especially in the Classico , he was the best player in the Barca side in total absence of Ronaldinho ! So i dont think Barca can afford losin' the two guys !

Reports in Italy are suggesting that Milan and Inter are set to do battle for the services of Ajax striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar.

The Dutch international was signed by Ajax from Heerenveen for £6.4m, but is now valued at around £8m having scored an impressive 20 goals in 22 matches for the Amsterdam outfit.

The 23-year-old was the top scorer in the side which won last summer’s U-21 European Championship.

He was also awarded the European Golden Boot for the 2005-06 season as the highest scorer in all the top European Divisions, having netted 33 times.

Milan are currently facing an emergency in their striking department just eight games in to the season,

Alberto Gilardino is yet to score his first goal of the season, while Ricardo Oliveira and Pippo Inzaghi have not scored since the opening game of the season.

Rivals Inter have plenty of options in attack, including summer signings Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Hernan Crespo.

However, they are now one man short after the Via Durini club allowed Adriano to return to Brazil to recuperate.

The Emperor’s agent reiterated that the striker will shortly return to train with Inter after taking care of some personal issues back home.

But Adriano himself stated on Wednesday that he didn’t know when he would return, fuelling speculation that he may leave the club during the winter transfer window in January.

Frank Rijkaard believes Ronaldinho will not be leaving Barcelona, despite Milan’s attempts to sign him. “I am not worried by the Rossoneri’s interest,” stated the Coach.

The Brazilian was associated with a switch to the San Siro last summer and recent rumours suggested that they may make a firm offer at the end of this season, seeing as the player has not yet extended his Barca contract.

“I know champions and their priorities – if they feel at ease in a certain environment it is very difficult that they will change,” said Rijkaard.

“The relationship between Ronaldinho and the club – not to mention between the player and the city – is perfect, therefore I do not see any problems.

“Of course you can never be sure in football, but at the time being Milan’s interest does not worry me at all.”

The Rossoneri, however, have not given up on the dream of signing Ronaldinho and still believe that a transfer is possible.

This is mainly due to the excellent relationship between the Via Turati club and Roberto Assis – the player’s brother and agent, as well as the agent of summer signing Ricardo Oliveira.

Many believe that the £14m paid for the 26-year-old Brazilian hitman, who spent much of last season on loan at San Paolo while he recovered from November’s knee ligament injury, was to be considered a sort of down payment guaranteeing the arrival of Ronaldinho in the near future.

However, technical sponsors are now also involved after the Blaugrana received an additional £10m from Nike, as the American company hopes this will help to prevent Ronaldinho from signing for an Adidas team such as Milan.

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has denied that Antonio Cassano will move to the San Siro in January. “There are no negotiations underway,” he declared.

The Bari-born striker was excluded from the Real Madrid first team after hitting out at Coach Fabio Capello over the weekend.

Cassano accused his ex-Roma boss of being ungrateful following his non-use in the 3-1 win over Gimnastic and has since been paired with a January move to the Rossoneri outfit.

“We are not discussing Cassano, there will be no move at least for this year,” said Galliani after Milan’s 4-1 win over Anderlecht in Wednesday’s Champions League tie.

“Former Real Madrid President Florentino Perez was at the stadium tonight and he told us that we must trust Ricardo Oliveira, who is a great player.

“Alberto Gilardino is finally scoring, Pippo Inzaghi will do well, while we also have Marco Borriello – so we really don’t need Cassano this year.

“I like the player, but I know Capello well and if he decided to punish him I am sure he had his reasons to do so.

“Cassano is very talented, but he now has to learn to be disciplined as well, when you are part of a group there are certain rules you have to follow.”

President Silvio Berlusconi also believes there is no need for additional players to strengthen Milan’s attacking options.

“Cassano and Ronaldinho can stay where they are, I think we are fine with the men we have,” stated a visibly pleased Berlusconi to Milan Channel after the San Siro match.

“There is no one I would swap Kaka with, not even Ronaldinho, although I would like to see them play together.

“Kaka is a complete player, we all know that – his excellent performances are no surprise for me anymore.

“We have always played well this season, there hasn’t been a single game where the team hasn’t shown its potential.

“Of course, there have been some unlucky matches, but we always played well. Against Inter, for example, we hit the post while today Kaka's shot went in.

“I am optimistic, if you are at the head of Milan you cannot lose hope. This is an intense season, we are protagonists in Europe and I am sure we will be protagonists in the Serie A.

“I cannot say if we will win the Scudetto, but I know we will finish in the top positions,” concluded the former Italian Prime Minister.

A few hints here and there about Ronaldinho. As I said, no moves for the winter

Werder Bremen midfielder Diego is reportedly a target for Milan after his impressive start to the season.

The 21-year-old, who moved to the Bundesliga side in May 2006 from Porto, has already scored six goals in his 12 domestic and Champions League appearances.

His form saw him included in the list of 22 players called up by Brazil Coach Carlos Dunga for the upcoming friendly match with Switzerland, scheduled on November 15 in Basel.

The Werder man, capped 12 times by the Selecao, was signed by the Sao Paulo team Santos at the age of 12 and grew up in their youth team, making his debut in 2002.

He moved to Porto in 2004 in a £5m deal, but struggled to find a place in the starting line-up and was bought by Werder Bremen last summer for £4.2m, signing a contract until 2010.

The player immediately adapted to his new surroundings and has expressed his best football in the past few months, impressing his Coach Thomas Schaaf and the Milan observers.

Diego has an Italian passport as well, which makes him even more enticing for the Rossoneri, who could make a summer move to bring him to the San Siro.

Real Madrid sporting director Predrag Mijatovic has confirmed that Antonio Cassano can leave the club in January.

The Bari-born striker was punished by the Bernabeu outfit after hitting out at Fabio Capello and was expected to present his apologies to the Coach.

However, he instead sensationally stated that he would gladly “walk to Rome on foot” in order to return to his former team Roma.

“Everyone can dream, that is normal, but Cassano has a contract with us,” stated Mijatovic.

“However Real, the most important club in the world, wish to keep only players who are happy to wear the shirt.

“If Cassano wants to leave, we are prepared to speak with the clubs that come to ask for him.

“We cannot allow ourselves to keep players who are dreaming of being elsewhere, especially since we have not won a trophy in three years,” added the former Fiorentina man.

Luciano Spalletti denied Roma are planning to sign Cassano despite his latest statements, declaring that he was unable of getting much out of the player while he was with Roma.

In the meantime, reports in England suggest Newcastle United may be ready to make an £11.4m offer for the 24-year-old Gioiello di Bari Vecchia.

Milan and Inter have also been linked with a bid, but both clubs have denied their interest until this point.

In the meantime, Milan transfer guru Ariedo Braida will travel to Brazil and Argentina this week as he searches for possible transfer targets, according to Vice-President Adriano Galliani.

“Ariedo will stay in South America for 15 or 20 days,” said Galliani. “He has already eyed some interesting players, just like he did in the past with Kaka.

“Signing talents like Ronaldinho is possible when they are still at Gremio or PSG, but if they move to larger clubs like Barcelona, you can't sign them for less than £40m.”

Milan have reportedly targeted Lucas Pezzini Leiva and Evaldo Silva Santos, both currently contracted with Gremio.

The 19-year-old Pezzini, who also has an Italian passport, is set to leave the Brazilian club in January and has also been eyed by Atletico Madrid, whereas Evaldo could move at the end of the season.

Milan are interested in signing Getafe defender Alexis Ruano, according to the Spanish club’s chief Angel Torres.

The 21-year-old joined the Primera Liga side in the summer from Malaga, where he grew up in the youth team, and has impressed in Bernd Schuster’s team.

He hit the headlines after scoring the winner against Real Madrid in October, although he has been sidelined in the past few weeks after suffering an injury against Recreativo.

“Milan are following Alexis, who is a phenomenon,” said Torres. “You mustn’t forget that the Italian club had already tried to sign him when he was 16-years-old.

“Getafe is a club where the President presides, the Coach coaches and the players play," concluded Torres, referring to claims he was interfering with his Coach’s plans.

River Plate have not received any offer for Milan target Gonzalo Higuain according to the club’s Vice-President Domingo Diaz.

The 18-year-old Argentine, who also has a French passport, has been paired with a move to several of Europe’s biggest clubs, with the Rossoneri, Real Madrid and Chelsea all interested.

Rossoneri transfer guru Ariedo Braida is currently in South America as he searches for January transfer targets.

But the latest reports in Spain suggest that Real have reached an agreement with River Plate, while Chelsea allegedly made a £8.5m offer for Higuain, whose contract ends in June.

“I have been asked what I think about an £8.5m offer presented by Chelsea, but I have no information about this and I haven’t even heard that they intend to make a bid,” said Diaz.

“River Plate want to keep the player at least until June 2007, this is our intention and at the time being we have not received offers from any club.

“If we should receive an official request which could be important for the club, then we will sit down at a table and discuss it.

“However, I do not want to make any comments until there is something certain to talk about,” concluded the official.

Atalanta President Ivan Ruggeri has rubbished talk that Nicola Ventola could join Milan during the January transfer window.

Ventola scored in the 2-0 win over the Rossoneri on Sunday and has been mentioned as a possible future acquisition given the Milanese club’s attacking problems this term.

However, Ruggeri has insisted that the San Siro giants haven’t even made an enquiry about the former Under-21 international.

“Milan have never been in touch about Ventola,” noted the Bergamo chief following the striker’s fine form this term.

“It’s not as if they need a new forward just because they weren’t able to score past us at the weekend.

“Milan already have some excellent strikers in their squad.

“Ventola? He’s an Atalanta player at this moment in time and I think that will remain the situation,” he concluded, fuelling whispers that he is ready to offer him a new deal until 2011.

Ventola, who flopped after a big money move to Inter, has scored four goals in Serie A so far this term.

Meanwhile, an Andriy Shevchenko shy Milan have seen Pippo Inzaghi, Ricardo Oliveira and Alberto Gilardino score just one apiece in the First Division.

Philippe Mexes will not be leaving Roma for Real Madrid, says transfer market consultant Ernesto Bronzetti.

The Frenchman, whose contract expires in 2008, has been heavily linked with a January move to the Spanish club.

However, Real’s transfer guru insists that the player who boss Fabio Capello admires won’t be flying out to La Liga anytime soon.

“Reports that Real Madrid have made an offer for Mexes are without foundation,” Bronzetti told Teleradiostereo this evening.

“The fact that the club are called Real doesn’t mean they can just go and get anyone that they want.

“Roma are one of the top seven sides in the world and I don’t think they are ready to sell players. In fact, if things continue like they are, then they will buy.”

Bronzetti also believes that recent history suggests that convincing players to quit the Italian capital for the Spanish one is becoming more difficult.

“It’s not easy to leave Roma and some players who have left, such as Walter Samuel and Antonio Cassano, have regretted their moves,” he added.

Samuel spent one year with the Galaticos before moving back to Italy with Inter. Cassano joined last January, but is also expected to make a quick return after failing to settle.

Mexes, after a tough first season following his controversial move from Auxerre, is widely regarded as one of the best stoppers presently in the European game.

he's good , the reason Raymond Domenech called him up for France friendly match against Greece next week! BUT the French born has to make up his mind wether to play for France or Argentina , n since it's a friendly match he could play for Argz as well laters .

Milan’s Ricardo Oliveira may join Sao Paulo on loan in January – thus allowing the striker to return to Brazil as he anxiously awaits for his kidnapped sister to be released.

She was taken from her home by armed men on October 4 and the Selecao ace is understandably finding life tough on and off the field.

Although he scored on his debut for the club against Lazio in Week 1, he’s struggled to adapt to his new surroundings ever since.

The Via Turati club are now considering the idea of loaning Oliveira to Sao Paulo, in order to allow him to be closer to his family.

Milan do not want to sell him outright as they still believe in the potential which convinced them to part with £15m in the summer for the Real Betis striker.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Nelson Dida has still not renewed his contract with the Rossoneri and could now leave for nothing at the end of the season.

Dida has asked Milan to wait until the end of November, but the Tuttosport newspaper claims that the outfit already have an agreement in principle with Livorno’s World Cup winner Marco Amelia.

Alessandro Nesta is also yet to extend his deal with Milan and could return to Lazio when his contract ends in June 2008, according to the latest reports in Italy.

If that is why Oliviera is struggling, I think he should go back until his sister is released, comes back next year hopefully. He has the skills and everything, he just has to adapt, but he cant adapt when his sister is in danger.

Leonardo snubs Milan
Milan transfer target Leonardo has reportedly snubbed a move to Serie A in favour of joining Tottenham Hotspur. The Brazilian winger has been linked with a number of clubs recently including the Rossoneri, Roma and Arsenal. But the NAC Breda star looks set to move to White Hart Lane in January for a nominal fee. The former Feyenoord man’s contract expires in June meaning he can leave with the price being determined by a tribunal. However, the deal is reliant on Leonardo being granted a work permit to play in England.

Torino striker Elvis Abbruscato has admitted that he could join Italian giants Roma in the January transfer window.

“I am aware that my name has been paired with a move to Roma,” he said in an interview with Nuova Spazio Radio.

“I am a player who can score if I get to play enough – and at Roma, they have a great ability of creating scoring opportunities for their strikers.

“It would be ideal for any forward to play for the Giallorossi, but now I am focused on doing well for Torino.

"I hate the label of loser and just want to help us to start winning,” added the 25-year-old.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Del Grosso’s agent also revealed that the Cagliari man is being monitored by the Romans.

“I know Roma are looking for a young defender to field on the left who is not too expensive,” said Federico Pastorello.

“Cristiano fits in perfectly with this description and I have heard that Coach Luciano Spalletti is interested in his services.

“I think a move would be possible for something around £700,000,” concluded the agent.

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi caused shockwaves by claiming Andriy Shevchenko has asked for a return to Serie A.

“I spoke to Shevchenko most recently yesterday,” he said from the stands of San Siro for tonight’s match with Roma.

“He rang me up and I was very pleased to hear from him, as I was with many people at the time who sent him an affectionate round of applause. Naturally a chant of ‘Sheva, return to us’ started up and he said he’d like that very much.”

It’s no secret that the Ukrainian has struggled to adapt to the Premiership since his £30m summer move to Chelsea.

He has scored just four goals in 14 official appearances for the club and is said to be finding it difficult to make friends in London.

Berlusconi’s statement will surely fire up already existing speculation that Shevchenko could return to the Rossoneri next season, or even as early as January.

It would be a valuable boost for Milan, who are having problems hitting the back of the net this term with Alberto Gilardino, Ricardo Oliveira and Pippo Inzaghi all stuttering.

However, the patron – and former Prime Minister – denied that Oliveira would be loaned to a Brazilian club mid-season.

“You can tell Oliveira is a great player, you only have to look at what he achieved in Brazil and Spain. He had a fitness problem he hasn’t quite recovered from yet and is in the middle of a painful family matter, so he needs time to work through these things, but I know of no request to go back to South America.”

Oliveira’s sister was kidnapped in Brazil last month and it’s believed he’ll return home to be closer to his family during this difficult time.

With no real alternative to Marcos Cafu in the side, Milan are said to be kick-starting new negotiations for Massimo Oddo.

The World Cup-winning right-back was already in advanced talks for a summer move to the Rossoneri, but the deal collapsed at the last minute because Lazio refused to sell.

Oddo has now been given the captain’s armband at the Olimpico, but has made it clear he would relish a switch to San Siro, perhaps as early as January.

The 30-year-old’s contract expires in 2008 and he does not seem intent on a renewal, so a quick sale would be in Lazio’s interests.

The Calciopoli scandal ruled the Biancocelesti out of Europe this year, so Oddo would be eligible for the Champions League with Milan in the latter half of the season.

It’s reported that the Rossoneri have set aside a slush fund of £100m to be spent over the next two transfer sessions in order to revive their fortunes.

While a bulk of that is ready for a Ronaldinho swoop in the summer, more urgent matters require Oddo and a new striker.

Ex-Parma defender Daniele Bonera was brought in for that role, but has shown himself to be nowhere near as effective pushing forward as Cafu.

Today’s Italian newspapers claim Inter will offer Adriano to Barcelona in part-exchange for Lionel Messi.

Nerazzurri patron Massimo Moratti has always had a soft spot for the 19-year-old Argentine creative midfielder and believes this is the right time to make a serious bid.

With Adriano not scoring for the club since March and his period of rest and recuperation in Rio de Janeiro a last resort, L’Imperatore could be moving on as early as January.

A summer departure is more likely and it’s claimed in today’s ‘Corriere dello Sport’ newspaper that he will be used as bait to lure Messi away from Barcelona, cutting his £60m price-tag considerably.

Leo Messi started his career at Newell’s Old Boys in Argentina, moving across to Barca at the tender age of 13.

He made his first team debut in a friendly against Porto in 2003-04, still only 16, and was later voted Player of the Tournament in Argentina’s Under-20 World Cup triumph in Holland.

Out injured for much of last season, Messi’s future is intertwined with that of another San Siro outfit – Milan.

Barca would only be ready to release the Argentine talent if they resisted the Rossoneri’s attempts to sign Ronaldinho.

Milan target Gonzalo Higuain has admitted that the Rossoneri are a great club, although he has not yet chosen his next destination.

The 18-year-old Argentine, whose contract with River Plate ends in June, has been paired with several of Europe’s biggest clubs, with the Rossoneri, Real Madrid and Chelsea all interested.

“Milan are a great side and I would consider a move,” said Higuain to newspaper Controcampo.

“However, I will follow the advice I will receive from my agent and my father, seeing as Milan is not the only club that has made a request for me,” added the striker, who has a French passport.

River Plate Vice-President Domingo Diaz denied last week that any offer had been presented for Higuain, dismissing the reports suggesting that Chelsea had made a £8.5m bid.

Meanwhile, Milan are looking forward to the January market, when they hope to strengthen their side after the disappointing first part of the season.

David Trezeguet is reportedly one of the names on their wish list, despite Juventus’ latest statements reiterating that the Frenchman would remain with the Old Lady.

The Rossoneri could also make a move for Udinese striker Vincenzo Iaquinta in the next month, altough they might wait until June to bid for defenders Felipe and Cristian Zapata.

Milan are also yet to solve the goalkeeper issue, as Nelson Dida has not yet extended his contract, which ends in June 2007, and has allegedly asked for £4.2m for the next two years.

Zeljko Kalac is also set to leave the club, while the Via Turati outfit have not ruled out the idea of signing Golden Ball nominee Gianluigi Buffon.

It is also alleged that they have already reached an agreement in principle with Livorno man Marco Amelia.

Juventus are eyeing a move for Valencia’s David Villa and have offered the Spanish side £5.7m plus Marcelo Zalayeta for the player’s services, according to reports in Italy.

Bianconeri sporting director Alessio Secco was reportedly in Spain in the past few days and met Amedeo Carboni, who confirmed that the Primera Liga side values the player at £17.8m.

The Old Lady allegedly offered Valencia a swap deal including striker Zalayeta plus cash as their return to Serie A becomes more and more certain as the weeks go by.

Villa, who is also a target for Inter, landed in Valencia in 2005 and scored an impressive 25 League goals last season, finishing one goal behind top scorer Samuel Eto'o of Barcelona.

The Spanish international had a row with Coach Quique Flores last week and has seemingly asked the club to leave, despite being contracted until 2013.

Meanwhile, Juventus are set to extend the contracts of Alessandro Del Piero and Pavel Nedved, which will also offer them new roles with the outfit once they retire.

Rumours have suggested Del Piero may be given the Presidency of the Turin outfit, although this has not ended speculation that he may receive an offer to end his career in Japan.

Vice-President Adriano Galliani has denied that Andriy Shevchenko will return to Milan, despite Silvio Berlusconi’s latest claims.

The Ukrainian ace, who moved to Chelsea in a £30m deal during the summer, has struggled with the Blues and has only scored four goals in 14 appearances so far.

Berlusconi, however, made a shocking statement over the weekend, claiming Sheva had asked for a return to Serie A – only for Galliani to dismiss them just a day later.

“Shevchenko’s return is technically impossible," said Galliani on Monday. “He is a non-European player and his spot has been taken by Ricardo Oliveira.

“The President thinks ahead and speaks about feelings, but he doesn’t look at the acquisitions.

“There is no point in remembering the rest, that Sheva is a Chelsea player, that they paid many millions for him and this was a life choice, and so on,” concluded Galliani.

In the meantime, Shevchenko himself apparently denied that he is eyeing a return to the peninsula, although he confirmed he did speak with Berlusconi recently.

“There is nothing to these rumours,” the Ukrainian told Il Corriere della Sera newspaper.

“The comments on the fact that I would like to come back was said out of simple courtesy,” explained the striker.

Milan are currently fifth from bottom in Serie A, 20 points behind leaders Inter and Palermo after the defeat to Roma at the San Siro on Saturday evening.

One of their biggest problems has been goalscoring, particularly from their strikers. Pippo Inzaghi, Oliveira and Alberto Gilardino have scored just one goal each in Serie A this term."

Palermo defender Andrea Barzagli will not move during the January transfer market, says sporting director Rino Foschi.

“Barzagli is not available and this is something I want to reiterate because I do not want any different information to fuel speculation,” said Foschi to Radio Blu.

“Andrea is a very talented player who could definitely improve in another team, but he will not be moving this season.

“We will see what will happen in June, although I hope he will stay at Palermo for a very long time,” concluded the club official.

Milan have reportedly lost out to Real Madrid in the race to sign Boca Juniors midfielder Fernando Gago.

Rossoneri transfer guru Ariedo Braida is presently scouting in South America and had eyed Gago and Gonzalo Higuain of River Plate, but both youngsters would seemingly prefer a move to Madrid.

Now the AS newspaper claims that Gago, similar in style to former Real and Milan man Fernando Redondo, is on the verge of reaching an agreement with the Merengues.

“He is going to happily come to us, he is a talented player and I believe we have been very lucky,” said former Fiorentina striker and current Real sporting director Predrag Mijatovic.

“I think buying him is a good move, although we still need to finalise the deal. He’s wanted by other big clubs, but he prefers Madrid.”

Milan have also targeted Ilsinho of Sao Paulo as a successor to 36-year-old Marcos Cafu after Lazio again told them to forget about Massimo Oddo.

The 21-year-old Ilsinho was viewed by Braida over the past few days and impressed the club official who is considering an offer.

However, the defender does not have an EU passport and could therefore land at the San Siro only in June if a non-EU spot is left vacant.

The player is under contract until 2009 and has been valued at something around £1.7m.

Meanwhile, there seems to be growing tension in the Milan locker room after Daniele Bonera and Yoann Gourcuff allegedly argued on Monday.

Real Madrid have clinched the signing of Marcelo from Fluminese for a deal reported to be around €7 million. Roberto Carlos also signed a one-year extension.

The 18-year-old left-sided defender has signed a six-year deal at the Santiago Bernabéu and is viewed as the long-term replacement for Roberto Carlos.

After under-going a medical in Madrid, Marcelo will be presented on Wednesday and then will be free to move to Spain when the winter transfer window opens again in January.

It is believed that he could spend the second half of the current campaign playing for Real Madrid Castilla in the second division as he adapts to his new surroundings.

Club president, Ramón Calderón, was delighted to have captured the highly-rated young full-back and stated that Roberto Carlos has welcomed the move too.

"He is an important signing for us," the Madrid supremo said. "He is a young player who will inject some freshness into the side and is part of our plan to bring younger players into the squad.

"We are very happy because he is a pearl that half of Europe wanted.

"Roberto Carlos is very happy and Marcelo is coming to replace him, when he allows him to," he joked.

So happy is Roberto Carlos that his compatriot is joining that he has put pen-to-paper on a new one-year extension to his current contract at Madrid.

The veteran defender will stay at the club until 2008 after talks over a new deal were finally resolved following the omission of a buy-out clause from the contract.

Fiorentina could launch a January bid to sign unsettled Milan defender Daniele Bonera, according to reports.

Bonera moved to the San Siro in the summer after four seasons with Parma, but has struggled for form in the first part of term and was also involved in an alleged bust-up with teammate Yoann Gourcuff on Monday – although that has been denied.

Fiorentina director general Pantaleo Corvino is looking for a new defender to add to Coach Cesare Prandelli’s squad and reports suggest that club President Andrea Della Valle is keen on the 25-year-old talent.

Prandelli has already worked with the player at Parma and has a high consideration of Bonera, who can easily adapt to all roles in the defensive department.

Valencia are hoping to lure Marcello Lippi and Gianluigi Buffon to Spain at the end of the season, reports suggest.

Coach Quique Flores’ team are currently sixth in La Liga, five points behind leaders Barcelona, and are already making plans for next season.

Now director general Amedeo Carboni has been quoted as saying: “Our two primary objectives should be Lippi and Buffon.”

The World Cup winning boss has not yet found a new job and had dismissed the latest reports linking him with a move to Milan, where he could replace Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the season.

Buffon, who may take over from veteran goalkeeper Santiago Canizares, chose to remain with Juventus despite their relegation to Serie B in the aftermath of the Calciopoli scandal.

However, agent Silvano Martina has admitted that he may consider a summer switch as the Golden Ball nominee is interested in an experience abroad.

Carboni also warned Inter and Juventus that star striker David Villa, a reported target, is not for sale.

“We have not received any official offer and even if this were to happen we would never consider selling Villa,” said the former Roma man.

Villa’s agent José Luis Tamargo also confirmed that his client is happy to be at Valencia and is not interested in leaving Spain.

“David is fine here and does not want to move. These rumours have been released in view of the upcoming January transfer window, but are completely without foundation,” commented the agent.

Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko is an alleged summer transfer target for Italian giants Juventus.

The Corriere dello Sport reports that the 22-year-old is high on Coach Didier Deschamps’ wish list, as the Bianconeri look to strengthen their squad once they complete an expected return to the top flight.

The young Mali international, who will be out of action for a month having injured his shoulder in the League Cup match with Birmingham, is highly rated by boss Rafa Benitez though and is unlikely to be allowed to leave.

However, rumours suggest Juventus could tempt the Anfield outfit to sell by offering David Trezeguet in a sensational swap deal.

Meanwhile, Under-21 international Raffaele Palladino seems set to leave the Old Lady as early as January.

He’s struggling to break into the Juve first team, a fact which has attracted the interest of Udinese and Roma.

The 22-year-old was already close to moving to the Friuli-based side in the summer, but the agreement for his co-ownership was not finalised.

“I thought I would play more,” said Palladino. “However, we all know that there is a lot of competition at Juve.

“Obviously a young player only wants one thing, that is to play more and more. I only hope that a new chapter will soon start for me at this club.”

Palladino, though, will start in Saturday’s match with Albinoleffe given the club’s striker crisis as Alex Del Piero, Marcelo Zalayeta and Trezeguet are all out injured.

LOl, since the start of the season, i've said that Barca wont take anything this season and Ronaldinho and Messi will move on. Cassano will move on too.

Now the silly part is F.Retard is coming to Italy and with the best team over there, and i hate it cause i think he is one of the worst coachs around.

i trully believe that If Roni joins Milan then Kaka is living Milan, i have this weird feeling about this. i dont think Milan needs aplayer like Roni.

Milan’s crisis has sparked links with players like Antonio Di Natale and Ryan Babel, while their offer for Gonzalo Higuain is increased.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men still have much of the £30m from Andriy Shevchenko’s sale to Chelsea left over and aim to spend big in January and next summer to reinforce the ageing squad.

The prime target seems to be River Plate starlet Higuain, who was announced as a Real Madrid player this week, but the situation could be more fluid than that.

“Right now, we have received a higher offer than that proposed to us by Real Madrid,” confirmed President Jose Maria Aguilar.

He refused to name the price, but it’s reported to be just under £10m for the French-born forward. “In any case, it’s impossible for Higuain to leave Argentina in January.”

His father, and agent, is pushing for the 19-year-old to be released for a European move as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri are eyeing other options for their anaemic attack force. The ‘Corriere dello Sport’ newspaper maintains they’ve set their sights on Italian international Di Natale.

The Udinese wide man would be the perfect support striker to partner the likes of Alberto Gilardino or Pippo Inzaghi.

He hit the headlines on Wednesday when scoring Italy’s goal in the 1-1 friendly draw with Turkey.

Over at Turin-based ‘Tuttosport’, the attention is focused on Ajax’s young talent Babel, who will only turn 20 in December.

The striker, who can also play on the left flank, made his international debut in the March 26, 2005 trip to Romania.

The goal on his debut made Babel the fourth youngest scorer in the history of the Dutch side and ex-Milan legend Marco van Basten said he “has all the potential to become the next Thierry Henry.”

Marcos Cafu has sensationally announced he’s returning to Brazil permanently, possibly as early as January.

“I want to go home. It could happen in January or at the end of 2007, I don’t know yet,” he was quoted as saying in Brazilian newspaper ‘La Folha de Sao Paulo.’

“There are negotiations already in place, not only with Sao Paulo. I thank everyone for having opened so many doors and now it’s up to me to choose.”

The 36-year-old defender had already considered his career almost over after his contract with Roma expired in June 2003, agreeing a move to Japan’s J-League.

However, Milan gave him the opportunity to extend his Serie A stay, which is now in its 10th season.

“I want to be closer to my family. I’ve already spoken to some clubs, but there is nothing concrete yet.”

Cafu had returned to Brazil to take care of family matters earlier this year and it seems it could be a permanent arrangement.

The Rossoneri have earmarked his replacement at right-back, fellow Brazilian Ilsinho of Sao Paulo.

“Even if he is still only at the start of his career, Ilsinho has already proved he can become a big name who matters on the world stage.”

Pendolino made his Serie A debut in Roma’s 3-1 win at Empoli on August 31, 1997 and has notched up five goals in 142 appearances for the Selecao.

Lyon could make a move for Juventus striker David Trezeguet in January, according to the latest reports.

The Frenchman decided to stay with the Old Lady despite their relegation to Serie B, but the player is unsure whether to remain at the club or move on to pastures new.

“We are waiting to see if Nilmar will return from his loan to Corinthians, but we may consider a move for Trezeguet in January,” said Lyon’s President Jean-Michel Aulas.

However, Trezeguet has recently stated that he has not yet decided what his future will be, although he cannot rule out a move at the end of the season.

“Seven years at Juve is a lot and also a source of pride. I’m not talking about the renewal or my future with the Juventus management, these talks are premature.

“I just hope we do not take a return to Serie A for granted, I fear that too much confidence can be counterproductive. We don’t want to stay in Serie B for another year.”

Coach Didier Deschamps agrees with the player and knows that several Bianconeri consider the end of the season an important turning point.

“We cannot block the players who decided to stay with us in the summer,” said the Coach, referring to Mauro Camoranesi, Gianluigi Buffon and Trezeguet

“I agree with Trez’s words, the players need to understand Juve’s future plans and then decide. They want the team to be competitive next year if they choose to stay.”

Real Madrid's Antonio Cassano has allegedly visited Italy in the past few days as he seeks a return to Serie A, according to reports in Spain.

The striker did not join the rest of the team for training on Friday and was left out of the squad that played Racing Santander over the weekend.

He had only just returned to the first team 10 days ago, after being excluded following his outburst against Coach Fabio Capello.

It now seems that Cassano has been in Italy for the past four days, after being granted permission to travel from the Merengues for ‘personal reasons’.

He is expected to return to Spain on Monday, although he will not be part of the squad for the Champions League clash with Lyon on Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Spanish side’s decision to let the former Roma man leave has fuelled speculation that the Bari-born striker could depart the club as early as January.

Although the player’s suspension has been lifted, it does not seem likely that the Talentino will find a place in Capello’s side, especially once Ronaldo returns from his ankle injury.

A return to the peninsula seems likely, even if all major clubs, including his former team Roma, have denied their interest in the player’s services.

Cassano moved to Spain from the Giallorossi in January in a £3.5m deal and it seems likely that the Merengues will let the 24-year-old leave for a similar amount of money.

Valencia striker Francesco Tavano is keen to prove himself in La Liga, but remains open to the idea of a Serie A return.

The 27-year-old has struggled to settle in Spain since his £7m summer move from Empoli, but finally made his debut for the club 10 days ago in the Copa del Rey win over Portuense.

“I would like to prove my value here at Valencia,” said Tavano. “If I were to return to Italy I would like to move to an important club.

“In any case, I would like to prove to Valencia that the investment they made this summer to bring me here was not a wrong one.”

The player’s agent Stefano Guercini confirmed that his client has attracted the interest of several European clubs.

“Numerous Italian, English and French sides have asked Valencia to loan out the player in January,” he stated.

His words echo those of Valencia sporting director Amedeo Carboni, who made a similar revelation last week.

“He’s been here three months and hasn’t had a chance to play, but despite this we have received some incredible offers from some very important clubs,” he said.

“However, we have refused them all because we want the chance to see him in action here.”

Tavano is reportedly a target for Milan, Torino, Napoli and Inter, as well as Premiership sides Newcastle, Liverpool and Tottenham.

Juventus have rejected a January bid from Milan for star striker David Trezeguet, according to reports in Italy.

The Frenchman had already been paired with the Rossoneri during the summer after the Old Lady were relegated to Serie B, but his departure was blocked by the club.

According to the Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, Milan have made a fresh offer to Juventus to bring the French international to the San Siro after Christmas.

However, the Bianconeri management have no intention of letting the former Monaco man leave as they consider him a key player for an immediate return to Serie A.

The striker, who has been valued at £14m, is contracted to Juve until 2008 and he has failed to commit his future to the Bianconeri.

With that in mind, Milan could make a fresh bid in the summer as they are still looking for a suitable Andriy Shevchenko replacement.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Lyon are also interested in the player’s services and the striker’s father and agent Jorge will meet Juve officials shortly to discuss possible options.

Meanwhile, sporting director Alessio Secco and Coach Didier Deschamps are already working on the Juventus of the future.

"Deschamps has all that is needed to stay here with us for a long time,” said Secco to Tuttosport.

“He could start a new era, just like what happened with Marcello Lippi. Didier was a Juventino and he knows the environment very well.

“He accepted the Serie B challenge with us because he was eager to sit on the Juve bench.

“We are already starting to plan in view of a return to Serie A. We have been contacting our most important players to convince them to stay with us and we are planning three important signings – but I cannot reveal their names…”

Marcos Cafu will decide whether to end his Milan stint or sign a new contract with the Rossoneri at some point in January.

The 36-year-old had sensationally stated over the weekend that he wanted to return to Brazil next year, but he admits that he could decide to stay on at the San Siro.

“There is a good chance that I might renew my agreement,” said Cafu to the Brazilian news agency Estado.

“But I have also had some offers from other Italian and European clubs and one in Brazil, so I am thinking about the decision to make and talking with my family about it.

“I think I will decide on my future by January and it will be final,” continued the two-time Scudetto winner.

“It would be nice if I could choose whether or not I want to continue my career instead of getting in a situation where nobody wants to sign me.”

Cafu, who arrived at Roma in 1997 from Palmeiras, joined Milan in 2003 and has since then appeared in 88 Serie A matches, as well as 32 Champions League games.

Milan are set to undergo a complete renovation process in 2007, as veterans Paolo Maldini and Alessandro Costacurta have both confirmed that they will probably retire at the end of the season.

Valencia striker Francesco Tavano will not be joining Liga rivals Racing Santander in January, his agent has insisted.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a loan move, following quotes from Racing chief Francisco Pernia, after failing to settle since his £7m transfer from Empoli in the summer.

But Stefano Guercini, whose client only made his debut for Valencia 10 days ago in the Copa del Rey, has dismissed the claim.

“The rumours on Francesco moving to Racing? I am surprised, even if I don’t think this is a possible option,” noted Guercini.

“If a loan or a co-ownership deal were to be confirmed in January then I think that the solution would most likely be a club outside of La Liga.

“A return to Serie A would be more probable,” continued the representative.

The striker recently stated that he was eager to prove to Valencia that their investment was not misguided, although he would not rule out the idea of returning to Serie A.

Lyon are ready to make an incredible £21m offer for Juventus striker David Trezeguet, according to reports in Italy.

The French side had already been paired with the Bianconero in the summer after the Old Lady’s relegation, but the player was forced to stay in Turin.

According to the Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, Lyon could make a new move to convince Trezeguet to leave the peninsula as early as January.

The club’s President had recently confirmed their renewed interest in the French international, who is an attractive signing as he can play for them in the Champions League.

“We are waiting to see if Nilmar will return from his loan to Corinthians, but we may consider a move for Trezeguet in January,” stated Jean-Michel Aulas.

The striker is contracted to Juve until 2008 and has failed to commit his future to the Bianconeri, although the club has reiterated that no key players would leave during January.

However, if the impressive bid were to be confirmed, the Corso Galileo Ferraris outfit may consider the option of letting the 29-year-old forward leave.

The latest reports suggested that Juventus had already rejected a bid from Milan for the striker, as the offer was not considered enough to let the former Monaco man leave.

Milan are reportedly interested in Roma defender Philippe Mexes and could make a move when the January transfer window opens.

The 24-year-old Frenchman is contracted to the Giallorossi until 2008, but a clause in the agreement would allow him to leave for as little as £7.5m.

Roma’s sporting director Daniele Pradè has admitted they would have to fight to hold on to Mexes after the club put new contract talks on-hold until the New Year.

Milan are keen to strengthen their defence, seeing as veterans such as Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Costacurta and Marcos Cafu may be retiring in June.

Mexes had recently denied that he was interested in leaving the capital city club, despite having attracted the interest of clubs of the likes of Real Madrid.

“I cannot see myself playing for another club, it’s not about the money and in any case I have no intention of availing myself of the rescission clause,” the defender had declared.

The Giallorosso’s name remains the first one on Milan’s wish list, followed by Palermo man Andrea Barzagli, although he is valued at £14m and is also a reported target for Juventus.

Inter are close to signing Ternana midfielder Luis Jimenez, according to reports in Italy.

The 22-year-old, who spent the latter half of last season on loan at Fiorentina, is contracted to the Serie C outfit until 2010.

But he wanted his contract rescinded in September after his proposed summer move to Lazio collapsed.

He believed his deal was no longer valid after the outfit’s demotion to Serie C, but the request was not granted by the club after the FIGC did not officially approve.

Nerazzurri technical director Marco Branca is scheduled to meet with the player’s agent on Thursday to discuss the deal, although they still need to reach an agreement with Ternana.

Lazio were close to signing the midfielder this summer, after reaching an agreement in principle with the Rossoverdi in mid-August.

Milan look set to bid for Livorno goalkeeper Marco Amelia after Nelson Dida picked up an injury during the Champions League match with AEK Athens.

The Brazilian hurt his knee and was forced to leave the pitch before the end of the 1-0 defeat and there are fears that he could be sidelined for two months.

The latest Rossoneri injury in the defensive department forces Milan to reconsider their next market plans and could convince them to answer Amelia’s call.

The Italian International is keen to leave the Tuscan minnows with the San Siro his preferred destination, as confirmed by the player himself last week.

“I would like to move to Milan – I think this is normal because we are talking about one of the strongest clubs in the world,” Amelia had insisted.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti thanked Amelia for his availability, but was keen to stress that Milan are well catered for between the sticks.

“We want to thank Amelia, but Milan’s goalkeepers are Dida, Zeljko Kalac and Valerio Fiori,” he noted.

“His arrival in January is unthinkable. We are looking at various players on the market – not for the winter transfer window, but for next summer.”

If Dida’s injury is confirmed to be serious, the Via Turati outfit may contact Livorno, considering that Kalac’s performances in his Coppa Italia appearances have been far from impressive.

Kaka will not be leaving Milan for Real Madrid, according to transfer market consultant Ernesto Bronzetti.

The Brazilian, who the Rossoneri have always said is not for sale, was at the centre of a transfer battle between the two clubs in the summer and Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon recently confirmed the star remained a target for the Merengues.

“Real Madrid would like to buy Kaka, that is for sure,” said Bronzetti to Tgcom.

“However, I don’t think he will leave the Rossoneri, Vice-President Adriano Galliani will never let him go, not even if he were offered the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.”

Carlo Ancelotti’s future at the club has also been questioned recently during the outfit’s poor run, but Bronzetti believes he will not be leaving the San Siro.

“He is one of the best Coaches on the market, this is just a strange period for him but he will not leave according to what I know. Last year Real Madrid wanted him but Galliani said no and extended his contract.”

Bronzetti is also convinced that there will not be any sensational moves during the January transfer window.

“Milan may make a few signings, as well as Roma, because their squad is not large enough. Inter are already competitive and I don’t think they are planning anything big.

“Buffon has at least two Italian clubs interested in him – Milan, who have not yet extended Nelson Dida’s contract and Inter.

“Barcelona and Manchester could also make an offer, whereas Real already have a goalkeeper,” continued Bronzetti, who does not think that Antonio Cassano will return to Italy.

“I think he will stay in Spain, there are no clubs interested in him. Milan do not need strikers, Massimo Moratti likes Antonio but I don’t think there will be any move for him. Furthermore, Antonio is not a player who would accept any team.”

The transfer consultant then commented on the rumours suggesting David Beckham could move to the Nerazzurri when his contract with the Merengues ends in June 2007.

“This could happen, although I believe that Moratti will renew Luis Figo’s contract. Beckham could move to the United States, but in the end he may decide to stay with Real,” concluded Bronzetti.

Livorno goalkeeper Marco Amelia has admitted that Liverpool want him – even if he is unsure of where his future lies.

The shot-stopper has been linked with numerous clubs and he’s this evening confirmed that the Anfield outfit want him in the Premiership.

“It is true that an English club would like me and I know it is Liverpool, they are the most interested party,” he told Sky Italia.

However, the World Cup winner is being strongly associated with a move to Milan after Nelson Dida picked up a knee injury in midweek.

“I don’t know anything about Milan,” added the youngster. “I’m honoured to have been paired with such a club, but I don’t know what will happen in January.

“All I know is that they would need to dig deep to sign me and I don’t think they would spend so much to keep me on the bench.

“If they do sign me then it would mean that Dida would leave at the end of the season [when his contract expires]. That would be the only logical reason why I would transfer to Milan.”

Having clubs such as Liverpool and Milan is obviously pleasing for the No 1, but he has another destination on his mind.

“If it was up to me then I would go back home to Rome and Roma,” he noted. “However, those doors are closed as they have Doni who is a great custodian.

“I will have market options available to me and I will look to make the best out of them.”

Valencia striker Francesco Tavano could join Milan in the January transfer window, his agent has insisted.

The Italian has failed to feature regularly for the Liga club since his summer switch from Empoli and a New Year return is expected.

Although Roma have been associated, his representative claims a Rossoneri switch is more likely.

“To have a request from Roma is something which we are proud of, but I don’t think there has been any contact to kick start the negotiations,” noted Stefano Guercini.

“However, there is the possibility that we will see Tavano back in Serie A after the Christmas break.

“Hopefully he could join Milan, a side who are following him and a team that Tavano really likes.

“Francesco is happy in Spain, but it is clear that Italy is in his heart.”

The player himself is keeping all of his options open and has revealed that he may know what lies ahead in the very near future.

“I’ve got a meeting scheduled with the club to discuss our plans in the next few days,” noted the creative striker. “I just hope this situation can be resolved soon.

Valencia striker Francesco Tavano has revealed that he will make a decision on his future in the next month.

The 27-year-old has struggled to settle in Spain since his £7m summer move from Empoli, making his debut for the club only 20 days ago in the Copa del Rey.

He is reportedly a target for Roma, Milan, Torino, Napoli and Inter, as well as Premiership sides Newcastle, Liverpool and Tottenham.

“I had no idea of the situation I would end up in,” said the player to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I am in the middle of a conflict between Amedeo Carboni, the sporting director who chose me, and Coach Quique Flores.

“I didn’t know that the relationship between the two of them was not good,” added the former Empoli man.

“If things will not change in the next month I will decide what to do and eventually consider a return to Serie A.

“I have read that there are several clubs interested in my services – his flatters me because it means that I did well in the past.

“I was very excited when I was given the opportunity to move to Spain, it seemed a dream come true.

“Then I had some problems and I was not granted any playing time, but I never complained to the Coach as he must make these kinds of decisions.

“Anyhow, I have a contract with Valencia and if I were to leave this club I would prefer to move from Spain,” added the 27-year-old, who appeared in the Liga match against Real Madrid over the weekend.

“I spoke to the Italians in the squad, I complimented Fabio Cannavaro for the Golden Ball and then I also chatted a bit with Antonio Cassano.

Inter are ready to offer striker Adriano plus cash to Juventus to bring Gianluigi Buffon to the San Siro, according to reports in Italy.

Tuttosport claims that the Nerazzurri willing to include Adriano plus £14m in their bid, seeing as the second best player in Europe has been valued at something around £28m.

There has been no confirmation of the news, but it seems that Inter’s technical director Marco Branca met his counterpart in the past few weeks to discuss the option.

However, Juve’s sporting director Alessio Secco has refused to give a definite answer, postponing any decision to June.

Buffon, one of the players who remained with the Old Lady despite the relegation to Serie B, has reiterated that he would not leave the outfit in January, as he wanted to help the club regain a spot in the First Division.

Furthermore, the former Parma man, who is contracted until 2011, recently stated that he was willing to stay at Juventus, provided he received guarantees from the club that they would remain competitive.

Buffon’s contract will be discussed at the end of the season, when the Nerazzurri are expected to confirm their offer.

So they dont want Adriano huh? Why not do a classic move, give him to their neighbours AC Milan, where he will shine, just like all players who left Inter to Milan.

This was on Correire della Sport, a headline:
Adriano for Buffon – Shocking offer from Inter, who would also add £14m. Juve block everything until spring, when they will start negotiations with goalkeeper

I also read in an arabic website that it was mentioned in an Italian newspaper that Kaka rejected an offer from Real Madrid.

Kaka is very very wise.
Why do you think he will go to Real Mandril (did I spell that correctly:hyper: )

Galliani: Kaká is the future leader of Milan

TBH, Galliani doesn't think of the players that much, it's money all for him (This is no insult to Milan or Galliani)

He wanted to buy Ronaldinho but it was Ronaldinho who rejected. BTW, who is the Assistant President of Milan?

Galliani stated they never sold a player for money, and he will never do that. He said Kaká will succeed Maldini as Captain. As for the Goalkeeping, the options are as follows: Amelia, if not its Sorentino, if not its Buffon. Cafu's place it might be Belleti from Barça (his agent said there is interest from milan, but priority is for Barça). As for the strikers, it could be Toni from Fiorontina (thats what Galliani said!)

Im shocked.

Liverpool have confirmed they have agreed a deal to sign Argentine ace Emiliano Insua.

The Boca Juniors youngster arrived in England for talks last week and he has agreed a move to Anfield.

Insua is set to ink an 18-month loan deal when the transfer window reopens in January and Liverpool will have the option to make it permanent at the end of the contract.

The Argentine Under 20 international is highly rated in his homeland and Reds boss Rafa Benitez is a big fan of the left-back.

"He is a good, young player with a lot of potential," said Benitez.

"He will come to us in January and we'll start to assess him at Melwood."

True he can play Left back, Left Wing, Right Wing and right back.

I think if Barça play this : Sylvinho-Marquez-Puyol-Zambrotta .. it would be better. We all know how Ronnie and Sylvinho play wonderfully together.

Zamba is good, and i would like to see him back to where he belongs and that is The Calcio. A player like him shouldnt be leaving Italy!

I agree with Nav.

The best thing about The Calcio, that our top players stay there. And with Zamba i think he's gona come back just like Nav said, the end of this season.

Plus Zamba wanted to join Milan but Juve didnt want too. Plus by the way he is playing, you can sence that its not him at all!

Barcelona ace Juliano Belletti is a transfer target for Italian giants Milan, according to his agent.

The 30-year-old was associated with the Rossoneri earlier this month and a move could be on the horizon.

“We are evaluating a number of offers which we have received, including one from Milan,” said hi
