Salam,

I'm looking for a printer that won't make me regret.
I bough an HP inkjet printer and used it to do some printing.

Then the ink finished, so I bough new cartridges and the prnter won't work, and it's not under wrranty anymore.

I had my fair share of problems with printers, I feel that I'm ripped off.

So, should I go for a laser (color) printer? I have a black and white one. But I'm considering a colour one.


1- What brand and model do you receommend
2-and how much the printer costs
3- and how much do the cartridges cost? And how many pages do they print?
4- Do laser printer print on CDs and DVDs?

I use a Lexmark z35. It still works efficiently. My black catridges cost about AUD 49 and the colour is a bit more expensive. It prints about 400 pages.

Lexmark. Emmm, we have a vey old one (laser, but monochrom not coloured) at work and it works efficeintly.
It seems it's a durable brand but not very well-marketed.
