I don't think its illegal as its merely translating them... as long as you did the real work of course..

It's just translating the work or whatever isn't it, not doing the work for them? so, I see nothing illegal in that or unacceptable. Many companies do so, translate from English to Arabic and from Arabic to English. Companies have 'em between themselves, even.
