View Full Version : Exercise : how often? HITMAN 10-10-06, 02:28 AM How often do you exercise? What sports? Are you trying to lose weight or to maintain a healthy lifestyle? NicoBambi 10-10-06, 02:34 AM once a week with school and soon twice a week for healthy lifestyle =) Tiny Heart 10-10-06, 02:37 AM We shall have 4th option that says Other or Never.. I dont fit in any of the categories above... Anyhow... the only sport I may go for is swimming, I love swimming, I can do all day long without getting bored... HITMAN 10-10-06, 02:40 AM Tiny Heart, there are 4 options Libellula 10-10-06, 02:43 AM Right now I don't exercise intentionally. I can say that I walk at a relatively brisk pace every day for at least an hour, but that's because I have to walk, not because I'm doing it to stay fit. During the summer I swim a couple of times a week, and I walk for about two hours every other day, plus I sometimes get dragged to the gym once or twice a month, but that's it. Senorita 10-10-06, 04:53 AM I used to exercise from time to time, which was quite rarely. Starting from tomorrow am going to jog everyday, 1 to 2 hours to lose some weight and I'll keep on doing that even afterwards. Monkiette 10-10-06, 03:40 PM i usually excercise 1-2 times a week, i seem to have slacked off in ramadhan though.. i'm very health aware.. i exercise constantly and eat very healthily.. i lost 10 kgs so far:D Black Lolly 10-10-06, 03:52 PM i rarely excerise. but im still fit. Nella 10-10-06, 04:00 PM i swim every other day in summer back home..but now i walk for about an hour almost everyday and some aerobics..i dance too which is considered as a sport in some cultures  Metal_Maniac 10-10-06, 04:16 PM I work out about 3-4 times a week for about 2 months and then stop for a month. My body responds quite fast and I hate it when I start walking around like I've got two pepsi cans under my armpits. Hence the break for a month when I start to get out of shape. Swimming once a while. All this for losing weight and staying healthy :) Lym 10-10-06, 04:18 PM I only walk back and forth in campus/city but I don't exercise intentionally. HITMAN 11-10-06, 12:07 AM I exercise at least once a week & try my best to make it twice I play squash $w€€ŧ¥ 20-10-06, 08:55 PM I walk to my lectures 3 times a week HITMAN 20-10-06, 09:11 PM I walk to my lectures 3 times a week Unforunately that isn't enough Lead researcher Dr Vicki Harber said: "Generally, low-intensity activity such as walking alone is not likely to give anybody marked health benefits compared to programmes that occasionally elevate the intensity." GirL NexT DooR 20-10-06, 09:29 PM I used to go the the gym almost everyday before Ramadhan, but I'm too lazy to even move a finger lol. *FaLLiNG STaR* 20-10-06, 09:29 PM I rarely exercise. I think that that makes a difference. Unless you sense being slightly breathless after the effort you mentioned, it should be under the category of light exercise MoonChild 21-10-06, 04:00 AM How often do you exercise? What sports?
