Tiny Heart 07-10-06, 09:42 PM When U buy any electronic stuff or any item that has a manual...
Do U actually read the manual b4 U operate the item or just dig into the thing & figure Ur way on ur on?
NiGhTFaCe 07-10-06, 10:32 PM I dont check, except if I am interested more to know all the features/options.
amo_l_oman 07-10-06, 10:33 PM No
And infact there come troubles
i read while operating..sometimes..i can't help it :shy: i get too excited to waste time reading
NicoBambi 07-10-06, 10:51 PM lol i hate those manuels !!
i do it without manuels :)
i always read the manual. saves 4 a lot of frustration later on. it gets on my nerves so much when someone'll come 2 me complaining about not being able 2 work out something, & when i ask them "have u read the manual", they say "no".... it's like y dont u just read the damn manual & save urself time as well as sparing ppl like me from getting annoyed @ u?!
DeSerTDesTroYeR 07-10-06, 11:07 PM Depends how complex or unfamiliar I would be with the device.
Fdaitny 07-10-06, 11:59 PM I'd try operating it at first, if I fail [which is most likely!], then I get my brother to operate it for me.. I don't bother with those manuals.. They never worked for me! Lol!!
eL3yo0oN 08-10-06, 12:03 AM loool i dont read the manual i get to excited to use the device!
i only read the manual after using the device just to know what else it can do
Tiny Heart 08-10-06, 01:54 AM lo0olz....
Seems most of us share something in common -no being botherd with a manual-... well me too...
I never read a manual b4 using any item, I usually try on my own, & maybe when I get stuck some where... then I'd refer back 2 it...
Other thing, I dont like read 'em coz then I'd feel that my equioemnt is old from 1st day coz i kn0w everything... but then if day by day I discover something new then I'd like it more & everytime I use it, will seem like using it 4 the 1st time ;)
Senorita 08-10-06, 02:09 AM At first, I check it myself and then I read to know more about extra stuff and so on and anything that am not familiar with.
Never...
Only if i got prob. operating the thing...
Metal_Maniac 08-10-06, 03:37 PM I generally get started without checking out the manual. Once I'm comfortable, I'd probably look at the manual to see if I've missed out interesting features.
Libellula 08-10-06, 04:54 PM I normally can't be bothered to read the manual, plus I'm generally confident that I can somehow experiment with the thing and find my way making it work. If I get confused or encounter a problem, then I might read the manual.
I don't read every single word. I just skim through the whole thing. Read the basics. That's it.
sunmoon 08-10-06, 05:53 PM No! Unless I can't deal with it myself! Than I'd get back to the manual! :D
LosT_SouL 08-10-06, 08:15 PM Never but if I get stuck Then I go back to the manual
The brain. 08-10-06, 11:07 PM Before, I wasn’t bothered with manuals, plus the manuals was not organised, complicated an some have more the 10 languages and u barely get anything out of them..
But nowadays, I like to scan through little attractive ones, and I just see if there is some good feature or a helpful way at the start page that take my attention and then go through the details..
Black Lolly 08-10-06, 11:13 PM i always figure my own way, when i get stuck, i read some lines from the manual
Tiny Heart 08-10-06, 11:43 PM emmm, I came of this thread as I've been trying everytime 2 explore my digi cam on my own... I find it interesting coz everytime I discover something new... but few days back, I thought of checking the manual 2 C what other features r available, but feeling lazy :p
