~ Are you one of those people who is constantly removing your compact/mirror from your bag to check how you look, and do you find yourself always asking your friends whether or not you look OK, when you're out? Do you ever ask other people if they think you look OK?

~ What do you think of people who do this? I'm talking about people who do it all the time, like every half an hour or so they just have to ask how they look. Do you think they're really vain, or are they just insecure?

from the time i leave house till i get it, i may check the mirror once....
most probably the car mirror....
coz i dont carry 1 in my bag.

Ha ha. That's so me lol I carry a compact mirror with me all the time. It's not really about being paranoid I dunno lol it's just that you're making sure you're looking fresh and all..

I dont ask sum1 if i look OK 24/7....i just check the mirrior every now and then sometimes....basically depends on the mood...

i dont walk around with a mirror or anything but im always checking myself whenever i find a reflective surface, & i never as any1 how i look (basically cuz i dont really care :))
ppl who ask how they look every few mins annoy the &$^&@^!*% outta me! i've got a friend who's like tht, & after asking me a few times i just tell her she looks ugly so she can leave me alone (the hust look on her face cracks me up :D)

I think these people who do check how they look, and ask people how they look all the time, are lacking confidence! *blink*

I don't carry a mirror around i might just check myself in the car's mirror be4 leaving but thats basically it..

im a paradox...

i take hours to get dress...and put nice makeup...and do my hair nicely...but once i'm out... i'm a totally different person. nothing stays in place. at cafes with friends, i always slide down the seat and my hair gets all dishevelled..my lipstick runs out....my kohl miraculously starts to smudge...and my clothes get all crumply hahaha :D

I never carry a mirror with me, and to be honest, I hate looking in the mirror when I'm out in a public place. I check what I look like before I leave the house, and that's it until I get back home.

I don't ask my friends if I look alright because normally I don't trust anyone's judgement but my own. The only time when I would ask how I look, is if I was trying to impress someone (why does my I-don't-care attitude desert me then?), and even then I wouldn't repeat the question ten thousand times.

Generally, I'd say that someone who was always asking how they looked is insecure.

i think those who keep on asking how they look every second have a lack of self confidence..

I actually don't own my own full length mirror.. i hardly ever look at myself in the mirror.. unless im brushing my teeth or putting contacts on.. or just before i leave the house. Just to make sure my hair isn't standing up. (it usually is.. lol)

I carry ma comapct mirror with me WHERE EVER i go!! its a must!! cant leave home without it!! I wud look at maself about 1 time every 3 hours!! i aint as obbsessed as mesmie (she broke the record) :p

I wud never ever ask ppl about how i look who are they to judge!! i think that wud show that i aint confident or aint certain of ma looks which is so not me!! :p

i dont do that and i dont have a mirror in my handbag. i just check before i leave home, and then whatevers going to happen to my looks, alla y3eeni.

I never carry a compact mirror with me. I hate to look at it infront of everyone. I also never ask if I look OK. The only thing I'd ask is how does my shaila look, if it's ok or not.

lol... well I find it in a way funny... :p... I'm not like that... but I do look at the windows when I'm out if there's a reflection :p... I do carry a mirror with me but I don't use it all that often.
however those who do it all the time could get annoying.

I don't ask people that question, but I do ask questions like "is my kohl smudged?" or "is my lihaf okay?". And always if I'm dining outside or at the movies, then I would visit the toilet to fix whatever needs fixing after I'm done :p

The only time i look at the mirror is when im combing my hair..ok thats a lie..Whenever im infront of a mirror i just look at it, check if i need to shave or something.

I don't do any of those things. I believe there's some insecurity involved when people are constantly checking themselves. Some might be vain and are in love with the way they look, too. I've known people like that. But, most of the time constant checkers I think are insecure; too worried about the way they look.

I don't carry a mirror with me and it never crossed my mind actually. One of my friends checks the way she looks IN CLASS every 5 mins..it gets on my nerves! we're not in the desert and there's no wind! nothing is ruined...we're in class!

I don't do that, because the moment I step out of the house, I know whether I look okay or not. I don't need others to judge whether I look okay or not, I believe in my own judgments. Carry a mirror? PUH-LEAZE! Never did & never will! It'll just make my handbag heavier :mmhmm:

I know alot of girls though that don't only check them selves in the mirror every 5 minutes, they keep asking you "How do I look?" over and over again, till it becomes the only conversation going on when you go out!! :bored:

I ask my cousin about my hair about 10 times ...but once we leave the house i forget about my hair and my face ...if we happen to go to the toilet i'll just check that im not a total mess and that's it :p

Whenever I wear my contact lenses every morning .. but I don't really see my reflection clearly because I use hot water for the shower and end up with no visibility in the mirror :p

I know! Me too.. God.. I can go on forver looking at this face.. Which is a good thing cuz whenever I know that my hairs a mess and I'm not looking my best I avoid mirrors..
And I really hate compact mirrors.. they're too tiny :S and like a small circle what the I can't see my whole face on it..Not nice..
