Hmmm, I have sooooo many experiences to choose from. Let's see. There's the time when I hadn't seen one of my father's friends in a really long tme and I commented that he should fire his barber for cutting his hair completely bald. At which point he informed me that the baldness was a result of his chemotherapy for cancer. I'm still tasting sole from that one. :shut:

I could go on and on and on...

One day I was heading home from school and on my way I saw my dad's car parked in front of a shop. I thought "great!" because it was a really hot day, school finished at 3 pm and I could use a ride.

I had been there waiting for about 40 minutes when a man comes to me and says, "are you interested in buying this car?". I said, huh, this is my dad's car. And he said, well, I guess it was, he just sold it to me this noon. The car was parked in front of the car sale shop, with a big sign on top of it, which I never noticed! :duh:

I went to a friend's house for dinner.....and his relatives were there......the kids......

I didn't know their 8 yr old kid had been in a car accident, and had this special helmet on his head.......when I met him I reached out and patted the helmet ( I thought he was wearing a football helmet)..and said something really stupid......."like what position do you play".......the whole room froze.......and his dad came over and asked me to join him in the kitchen for a drink.......when he told me..........I felt like such a dork......

I was waiting in line at customs, waiting for my turn. Then 'riinnnnnng riinnnnng' goes a mobile 'ringgggg ringgggg' 'ringgggg ringgggg'. Everyone including me was looking around, waiting for someone to pick up their mobile which was very loud by the way then finaallllyyy I realised that it was my mobile and went 'oh, its mine' and started to dig for it in my bag. The caller shut before I managed to find it :(.

This was 3 weeks ago.

I was outside the General Manager's office talking with his secretary and then heard the GM from his office shout out loud 'Good morning George, how are you' (he generally is a very jovial person) and I replied (loudly) 'I'm fine Sir'. Next one (still loud) "How was your weekend" and I go, "It was great". All along the secretary is looking at me perplexed and trying to figure out what's happening. I answered one more question before the secretary stopped me. She whispered to me "Shh...the GM isn't speaking to you, he is speaking to Mr.George the Chairman's personal assistant on the phone"

Boy, that sure had me looking like a complete idiot. :o

dorky? i was a dork all through the first year in higschool coz i went in really young at 11....i wore dorky clothes, i made my father wait with it me until the first bell rang...(and my father wears a thobe...having ur father wearing a thobe, with a beard- holding his hand in a western country ...in highschool...the place where everyone wants to be cool!...is NOT COOL)

along the way i also engaged in spectacularly demented behaviour ..but like jeff said..."nothing springs to mind...maybe ive forgotten them on purpose!"

dude who wants to remember dorky things. the memory of my geeky days doesnt support my coolness now! so thats that! it has been forever erased! *zap zap zap*

I think dorky is like the time I was absolutely shit faced at this Kareoke Bar filled with nothing but Japanese people, and I sang the theme song to the "Dukes of Hazzard".

It was so bad, it was awesome.

Oh man.......what goes on in Karaoke places........stays there......LOL.

I got pulled up in front of about 200 Japanese at a company party one time and had to sing.....

"My Way".......after about 8 bottles of hot sake.......you feel like you are Frank Sinatra......

One of the office girls told me a week later, some of the people were still talking about it and how bad it it was......

I'm sure I've done a lot of dorky things, but I don't really remember them right now. All I remember is the fact that I used to look like one, what with the braces and huge eye glasses.
