well .. here is the thing..
doctors discovered that I have a nasal plype 6 months back .. ( after 4 months of appointments ) .. my surgery will be on november ...
but here is the thing ...
it happened 2 times now and its about to happen again ... LARGE parts of the polyp falls out :S !! + I have lots of discharges , ear ache as well as its always blocked and I also wake up at night with breathing difficulties .....
I use cetirizine hydrochloride tablets .. thats all ..useless pills !!

Steroids have a very good effect on nasal polyps, your ENT dr should prescribe to you intranasal steroid sprays

But in Oman every growth is usually called la7miya, nasal polyps are called la7miya, adenoids are called la7miya, even the warts are called la7miya I think & God knows what else have the same name!

the problem with polyps is that it can come again after surgical removal...

If it comes again.. you will undergo the surgery again and after that you will most likely to be prescribed that steroid nasal spray

yup !! I used the steroid nasal spray for mmmmmmmmm let me see 5 months :| did nothing much .. the last time I went he didnt even prescribe it for me :( I miss the smell of it actually (A)

Did you get an allergy test done to see what are you allergic too?

Avoiding allergens can help

However, you seem to have reached a stage that can be solved only surgically & let us hope they won't recur as FaHaD mentioned already

Polyps recurrence is quite common

yes !! few years back .. its a long list I try my best to avoide the things Im allrgic to but Im allergic to DUST MITE !! there is no way to get red of them ... I have a split unite ac in my room and no carpets at all .. just marble and they wash my pillow nearly every day ! :os
Im asking about the polyp falling off by it self !!
twice !! they just boooom fall off :S "parts of them"

Surgery will be the best solution for you. And like the others said, lets home it doesn't come back.

Do you use any medications for your allergies? Controllig your allergies will help ease your symptoms such as the nasal discharge and the blockage.

I use antihistamine pills whenever I get a rash .... I dont use it on daily bases
